I recently purchased a used wheelchair accessible Honda Odyssey from Sidewinder. Through the entire process, they were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered. The sales rep, Clint, even came to pick me up at the Abbotsford airport and drive me to Chilliwack to pick up the vehicle. They really are passionate about helping people.

A wheelchair vehicle can make all the difference in the world when your mobility is confined to a wheelchair. A wheelchair van opens your world, providing access to destinations not accessible by a wheelchair accessible bus or a wheelchair taxi.
Freedom to go where and when you want.
You can’t just go the an auto dealership and buy an accessible van. You need to rely on the knowledge and expertise of a quality company that will convert a vehicle to fit your needs. I chose SideWinder Conversions and haven’t regretted it one bit. My first contact with SideWinder was Rob. We talked about our needs for a van and what option were available. Rob recommended a make and model of van that would suit our requirements. Rob recommended the conversion options that would work best for my wife and me as the operator. They did an incredible job with attention to detail. SideWinder delivered our conversed van in showroom condition inside and out.
We had also talked about future maintenance and so after a year of use. Rob and Clint provide us a courtesy wheelchair van while they serviced our van. They provided a maintenance check up and made a few adjustments. Even making some modification to bring the conversion up to their new standards. They returned the van again in showroom condition and call a few days later to see if we had any issues or concerns.
Sidewinder Conversion is a quality company with the knowledge, expertise and staff to provide you transportation you will be proud to drive.
My wife and I are thankful for our new found freedom and SideWinder Conversions

Sidewinder installed a 6 way transfer seat for us. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service is exceptional!

Rob was very helpful and was always quick to respond to the many questions we had. Rob also told us about the QLK docking station system (which we had never heard of). This is making life so much easier when loading and unloading the wheelchair from our van as it secures the chair without the need for the 4 Q'-STRAINT tie downs to be attached and removed each time. We want to thank Adam, Rob and all the staff at Sidewinder for their help. The number of beautiful thank you cards and testimonials on their foyer wall speaks volumes about their care for service to their customers. This is our second time dealing with Sidewinder and we had good experiences both times.

We had been looking for wheelchair vans for over a year, so when we spoke with Clint we felt like we made the right decision. They were great right up to the sale. The delivery was in the late evening so it was pretty dark. The day after we picked up our van we have had the following issues:1. Rust spots on exterior2. Rust spots on the van floor4. Remote issues3. Ramp not workingNow my mom has not been able to go to a doctors appointments. ( we are still waiting for help cause the ramp is still not working.)4. They will not charge Hybrid batteries before delivery when you purchase a new van.5. They only give you $15 worth of gas, even when they know your coming from the interior to pick up this vehicle.6. Clint gave us automatic straps in the showroom as a early Christmas gift and they were broken, so he took them back. Now he said we have to pay an additional $1,000 for them.7. We asked in a email prior to buying the van about needed winter tires. As it was passed October 1 at the time of purchase. ( we live in the interior). At time of the sale Clint said we did not need them.8. We made no negotiations on price and payed in full. ( you’d think you’d get a full gas tank.)*****Tip for next buyer. If you purchase a van from Clint. Make sure you bring gas money. *****Clint doesn’t call people back and he tries to blame othersNow it’s going to take 3-6 weeks for winter tires. I called and left two messages with the front and He took two days to call me back with no real solution. The ramp is not working at all. On a brand new van this should not happen! I am now carry my mother into a truck to take her to appointment because the ramp is not working.****Up Date**** Sidewinder was not taking responsibility for our ramp issue I took the Van to Toyota. After a full inspection they said that my Toyota Van (Hybrid) was not build with an alternator so the van is not equipped to support the ramp. Which means the battery will need to be replaced often. So when they build this van they did not take into consideration that the ramp needs an independent battery. This is something that should have been looked at before we bought our van. I would never recommend this company they kept saying it’s a user error and did not believe there was an issue with the ramp.Over all I a pretty disappointed with the service from Clint and the assistant Manger Adam. They have the worst customer service and they only care about profits and Sales. There is no after service care. Being a company that is supposed to help people with disabilities that’s scares me.

We would like to thank Sidewinder Conversions for the recent conversion of our van. Being able to access our van with the rear ramp greatly improves my mobility situation. Having a loaner van from them while the work was being done was greatly appreciated.

I have been dealing with Clint from Sidewinder for 7 years now and I have always had the most genuine, honest & professional customer service. I have even called to get advise on accessible vans & I can always count on Clint and the Sidewinder team to give good solid advise. I give this company beyond 5 stars. You can always count on these folks!!! MB

Good price and friendly service until they sell the vehicle. I’ve been with them for 6 years. Maintenance and customer service are bad. I had to fix the van ramp and deploy battery for many times. In each time it will work for a couple of weeks before it breaks down again. Technicians and their leaders don’t have an idea what they’re doing. Very poor communication between staff that I have to repeat myself to everyone separately and that i pick up the van with some issues unsolved. Aggressiveness with the customer and disrespect to their time. Refused to admit hitting and deforming the van door while in service. Won’t recommend it to anyone.

Sidewinder was the least expensive provider of this service we could find. They provided us with a no-cost loaner vehicle while our van was being converted. The conversion was completed on schedule for the price promised. The quality of the work done appears to be good (no squeaks, no rattles and the vehicle rides well). Friendly and efficient service each time we communicated with any employee. I would recommend Sidewinder. Thank you Clint for everything you did for us.

Again this year, Sidewinders adjusted and serviced the hand controls on my vehicle. The service job was punctual and took about 1 hour to perform. Throughout the staff was friendly and informative AND my hand controls have never worked better.Kudos to Sidewinders.Gord WeitzelLangley, BC
