This Safeway had all the usual offerings that are expected at major grocery stores. It was roomy and very clean. Pleasant place to buy our supplies for our sturgeon fishing adventure.

Just wanted to share that I was buying a few things today, but when I went to pay I realized I had left my cards at home. I asked to leave the things and go home to get the $$, but the lovely man at the till paid for my groceries (with the nicest smile), and told me to just pay it forward. Made my day, and I definitely will.

Nice clean store with lots of variety. I find they have the best price on beef and pork compared to other grocer's.

The new layout is awesome. Much brighter and easier to navigate. Lots of ready meals, like sandwiches, chow mein, pizzas, soups. The bakery has a lot to offer as well.

I've been going here all my life... it has gone downhill since sobeys bought Safeway. Product options/availability has changed, not for the better. "Fresh baked" breads and buns sit on shelves for 3 days or more, some out of date products (have to constantly check dates). Dairy product expiring too soon... bring back Lucerne! Staff and management used to be so personable and friendly.... too much changed, not for the better. Would be nice to bring in more affordable gluten-free options as well. I go to Superstore for that now as their PC gluten-free hot dog and hamburger buns are way better, and 4.49 for a 5pk instead of 12.99 for the gross scharr buns that come old and moldy. Deli won't slice anything after 830 at the latest most nights now and the old lady that works nights in Deli is so rude. I have to go across the street to save-on to get Deli meats in the evening, even though their Deli is supposed to be open til 10pm...

Great location for all your food needs. Safe way is a well recognized brand with a large selection. I would say this is a newer and better one than some of the locations. Big produce section , bakery and deli . Great hours for early birds and night owls. Thank you ?
