Superstore gas has no price advantage. It is just another gas station. No point.

Next to no stock. But convenient if they have what you want in Harrison.

We were out by Hope scoping out campsites for future visits and needed groceries for the fridge and decided the Superstore in Chilliwack surely wouldn't be as busy as most stores in Vancouver and we were right! The store was really empty and there was tons of parking in the parking lot. There was no queue even though it's the pandemic and everything was stocked. We got everything on our list and way too much more of what wasn't on the list LOL. My only complaint is the lack of communication/direction given at the checkout. There's stanchions indicating to queue up and since there was no one in the queue, we just proceeded to walk to a checkout counter and was then yelled at to go back to the beginning of the stanchion and wait for her to direct me to a counter. Immediately after we walked back, she yelled at us to go to a counter - it honestly felt like an unnecessary power trip walking back and then to the counter. Then she said something about no baskets on the conveyor belt, so we placed everything on the floor and then onto the belt. Then on the conveyor belt after things had been scanned, I started to bag and then the cashier said "no bags" and I confirmed no bags...but what she meant was no personal bags on the conveyor belt. I just felt like there was no communication. She could have said right at the beginning "no personal bags on the conveyor, thank you". Other than that it was a very easy peasy, non stressful shopping experience during the pandemic.

Thanks for closing 15 minutes early. I’m from out of town and I rushed to this station to use the Speedpass app and get PC points. Buddy working decides to close 15 minutes early so I wasted my time. Don’t try going here after 10:30 pm because chances are the pumps are already closed.

New payment system is awful. If you put your number in to get PC points you can't tap. It's also really slow, for example I have to take the nozzle off the pump, wait a minute and THEN choose a grade because if you don't wait, it won't register your button press. It's 2018, sort your life out, Mobil!

This is a large store with a wide selection of food, pharmacy, etc. A noticeable amount of organic (natural food), although I question "natural" since I've yet to figure out how one "milks" an almond for the almond milk. But that's the yanks south of the border. This is a true super marche, and I have been happy with everything I have purchased here - on my way to visit friends in the hinterlands of BC.

What I can say? It was self serve and I pumped gas. The pumps were clean and there were paper towels in the dispensers. I will return.

Three weeks ago my husband purchased three fresh chickens in a large pack that looked like the Superstore brand. When I was about to portion them up, right before placing them in the freezer, I had noticed something I had never seen before. All three birds had huge bruises on their bodies and wings. The wings looked broken and bloody. There is no doubt in my mind that those animals suffered terribly from being mishandled by their catchers. I could not go ahead and enjoy cooking them. Was the company short on chicken catchers at the expense of their pain and suffering? ( the chicken's pain, not the catchers :) That's despicable and inhumane. I hope the management will look into it closely. I will proceed further if I ever see this again. That's a first for me and I never want to see this abuse again. On a different note, I have a few pet peeves regarding removing the Vietnamese soup "Pho". It comes in two flavors: beef and chicken. We are a growing community with diverse nationalities. This particular isle needs to be stocked up a little better. It's a far cry from other Superstores that take much better care of the Asian community. Last but not least, fresh produce needs a lot to be desired. It always looks as if it had been sitting there for way too long. To most people the produce should look as fresh as the day it was picked.
