Fantastic service! I went into J Ballam Furniture this weekend to purchase a Lay-Z-Boy recliner and it was the best furniture-buying experience I've ever had. The staff were warm and welcoming. They invited us to sit in as many chairs as possible and left us alone to peruse the showroom. When I had questions about specific chairs Jim was on hand with tips about fit and the different options available. When I asked about getting a chair quickly Jim was able to accommodate with delivery just two days later. The whole experience was low pressure, high service and left me confident that I had purchased a chair that would be comfortable and stylish for years to come. Today the delivery guys arrived early and had my new chair in the old chair out in minutes. The whole experience was as comfortable as this new recliner. Highly, highly recommend this team!

Went all around town looking and J. Ballam had the best selection and service. The quality is excellent. We purchased a leather sectional to replace an existing set and leather recliners for a different area of the house. Recliners delivered yesterday and delivery service was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to getting the sectional next week.Highly recommend J. Ballam. Experienced, long-standing, business and the owner and team are very knowledgeable on what works best for your needs.

We had a really good experience shopping here. We purchased a bed and a very high quality pull-out hide-a-bed sofa. The hide-a-bed was quite expensive, so we went back to the store several times to look at it, ask questions, etc. Every time they were so friendly and helpful, let us take our time, and were not pushy or "salesy" at all. All the items that we purchased arrived in good condition, and are very good quality. We will definitely shop here again.
