Had such an incredible experience taking Carstens Real Estate Photography Workshop. One on one learning really helped me to understand and learn what I was doing. Very organized to get the most out of the 3 days. As well as a nice, good communicator teacher who has the experience and knowledge to give you the best possible information. 10/10 recommend and would do it again tomorrow. Great way to start up a business and start your photography career!!

We have had what used to be a family portrait, hanging on a wall that was exposed to direct sunlight in our home. It became noticeably faded and we wanted to have it restored to its original vibrancy. We also wanted to ensure that this portrait did not become further damaged in the process. Although we preferred to have the restoration done in the Chilliwack area, it was more important to us to have the highest quality work done regardless of where it would be done. Extensive research into options available throughout the Lower Mainland, led us to Carsten Arnold, not so much because he was local, but because of the confidence we had in his ability to do the work. To say that we are rather fastidious, might be somewhat of an understatement.After several ongoing telephone conversations as well as emails that included various options we could consider, as well as proofs that he sent to us for approval, we picked up the final product today. It can only be described as a prodigious masterpiece. The vibrant colours and clarity exceed even that of the original which was excellent as well when it was new. Our expectations of Carsten were high from the onset. Those expectations were exceeded. Carsten is not outstanding because of his high reviews, he receives high reviews because he is outstanding. "Job well done (& then some). Thank you Carsten" !!!

I received one of Carsten's photographs this Christmas - I loved it the moment I saw it in the gallery and I was disappointed to see it gone when I returned some time later. Fortunately it was gone because my husband bought it. I enjoy it so much and it's the first thing I see when I wake up. I wrote an email through the website and Carsten actually wrote back to me right away and told me more about how and where he took the photograph. This was so lovely of him and makes my artwork even more special.

I had spoken to Carmel Studios about not being able to make out features on the faces in a photo. They had the utmost confidence that what I needed they were very able to rectify. WELL, what I got back from them was more than a day to night change. They did an amazing in such a short period of time. i was so taken with the picture, it was really unbelievable beautiful.I would easily recommend them to take on your task.

You can tell how passionate someone is about their work by how detail oriented they are (e.g. moving a chair over 1 cm so the legs are all evenly spaced, adjusting a vase of flowers so they are centered above the middle pendant, carrying a level to check the alignment of hung photos, etc.). It's this level of detail and care in composition that sets Carsten apart from other photographers. I enjoyed watching him work and explain what he was doing while creating photos which made my house look surreal. He is really good at what he does.

Excellent service and great communication. I recently took some of my artwork to be scanned and I was very impressed at the quality and the level of professionalism. I needed it done quick and he exceeded my expectations. Carsten is a super nice guy and answered all my questions and was quick to respond to all my questions. We recently had a personal family photo printed on canvas and framed to perfection by Carsten Arnold of CarMel Studio. His easy-going and professional manner allowed for consultation and discussion to achieve the look we wanted. We were extremely pleased with the service we received at Carmel Studios. The project they undertook for us was printing and enhancing a large family portrait approx 3 ft x 2 ft. The quality of the print and attention to detail were performed to a very high level. Carsten consulted with us throughout the project, which was completed on time to our total satisfaction.
