Very friendly staff ready to help support pet adoptions. They let us visit with our new family member to make sure the match was good. They also would rather reverse an adoption if it doesn’t work out in the first few weeks but experiencing the animals was the better way to go.

We adopted our cat from the SPCA in Chilliwack and have nothing but good things to say about the service and staff there.Our cat that we re named Peanut was hit by a car and has 3 legs.The care for her was phenomenal.We fostered her at first and fell in love with her, and she has her forever home with us.They looked after her care, including all the shots, spaying and anything else you would need to do at a vet. The staff were amazing and friendly, and do a great job considering all they have to deal with.For all the naysayers they are a non profit organization, its not a business! They do what they can with what they have, and do a great job.Thank you SPCA for everything you do

On Thursday Decemeber 22, 2023 my condo neighbour passed away and wasn't discovered for 5 days. The next day we reached out to the shelter and 3 messages over 2 days, desperate for help dealing with her cat. She had no family or next of kin. It's DEPPORABLE AND DISGUSTING, that not ONCE did the shelter return ANY of our calls, knowing full well while we were calling and asking for help. Nothing! Nada. Zip. Today is 6 full days later and still nothing. I will never, ever endorse, help or donate the Chilliwack BCSPCA ever again and I will never stop telling this story either. Shameful really.

The girl we had an experience with a while ago was rude and took our lab from us and threatened with animal abuse charge if we didn't give him to her eventhough no one called us in. They called in on our neighbors. But she drove by and seen our dogs house and said we needed to add hay and a heat lamp and a door.but it was a good dog house with walls and a roof and hay on the bottom and he had a sleeping buddy which was a stray dog which she seen and we told her it wasn't our dog which she didn't do anything about and instead took a happy dog with a family that loves him sm!! Wegot police involved after he was gone and they investigated and said it wasn't right and she wasn't allowed on our reserve without permission and we could get him back but sadly he was already rehomed!!!!

Was a bit of a drive to get there from Vancouver but what I got out of it was a Wonderful 5 yr old kitty cat who is so loving & friendly...! Everyone was very nice, thank you Gabby! You all are very special people to save & care for those who cannot look after themselves...! ?Thank you for my new buddy!He's going to have a long & happy life in his new forever home! ???

Be nice if this shelter cab start selling rabbit, exotic bird, All different dogs and cats I drop off expensive per ordered dog food I asked about the Anmials there they to me that Abbotsford carry them if that the case why is this BCSPCA even in business if there carrying any animals on what they have on there bord or only show only what they do carry and nothing else
