About Vancouver Island Regional Library - Chemainus
The new Chemainus branch opened in January 2020 on the corner of Cypress and Willow Street. Historically, the Chemainus branch has seen a lot of books and people pass through its doors since the first library opened in the Masonic Hall in 1949. The previous branch library opened on Legion Street in 1990 and served the community well for nearly 30 years.

Awesome building with lovely staff. Felt like a very welcoming space. I was also able to use the quiet room for a meeting. Thanks!
