“Sometimes it is very busy , only one person inside at a time, little store inside. Candy, gum ,smokes, even oil if you need it ! It's a gas station? Don't expect much : ) trade a tank for propane here. Staff are Awesome and very helpful !! Ice machine outside also. Air for tires near ice machine that takes looney for 2 min. Best place for gasoline, not diesel. No diesel here. ! Or boat gas ! Motor home would be difficult to manage here.”
“Appreciate to the Their CSR to refill my propane tank. I was not able to cook food at home because my propane tank got empty. I tried everywhere in the town no one was refilling the propane then I visited at husky, there was an East Asian CSR was working named Manov. I guess he was with glasses I asked once to refill the propane and he respectfully and politely said he will be right at propane station. He locked the store to refill my tank. He said they now refill propane until sky gets darker. Great service appreciable?”
“I travel north to south island and back frequently. Duncan Bay General Store has the best fried chicken on Vancouver Island, hands down. It's better than Chicken 649 or Thunderbird in Victoria. There are some poor reviews here, but all of my experiences have been excellent. Maybe I just have the timing right for arriving when the chicken and mojos are fresh?”
“Great big station easy to maneuver with trailer.Good selection for snacks etc, nothing to write home about.Multiple times I've had to go inside when paying at the pump since pump was not stocked with receipt paper. Bit of an inconvenience in a rush but would be 5 star otherwise.”

“We have been spending the winter in NorthIsle and make Quinsam Shell our one stop shop. We can wash the RV, fuel up, get propane and fresh water and there is a sani-dump also. Clean, organized, in good repair, competitive prices and with the friendliest, most competent staff. Well done Quinsam Shell??”
