My girlfriend absolutely loves this brand so i took a trip to the store to get her some surprise gifts. I was helped by Mali who patiently answered all my questions (believe me i had many) and even gave me a moisturizer gift with purchase!Super friendly environment and knowledgeable staff. Overall a top notch experience and would highly recommend.

I have been a loyal customer of The Ordinary for quite some time and have always appreciated their products. However, my recent experience at Metrotown was extremely disappointing. I encountered a staff member who engaged in racial profiling, which left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity regardless of their background, and encountering such behavior from a brand that I have supported is disheartening. I hope The Ordinary takes steps to address these issues and ensure a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers. As a result of this experience, I am hesitant to continue purchasing products from this location and will be exploring alternative options for my skincare needs. I hope the brand takes this feedback seriously and works towards creating a more positive and inclusive customer experience in the future.

I went to the store on Thursday , 30th November, and was very unsatisfied with the customer service provided. They told me the discount had ended and they couldn’t override it or price match from the website which still was showing all the discount. They said it has ended early because it’s based on EST but i went to the store at 8:40 PST which made no sense. I wanted to buy 5 copper amino lipid which was out of stock online so I went to the store and they had it in store and still told me NO discount and NO cash!!!! The lady was already counting money and I felt like I was being rushed out of the store. Very disappointed with the services. They say shop slowly but don’t give the discount afterwards?♀️ even when their website shows the discount. I really wanted to gift this product and try it for myself after all the hype I saw over social media but was disheartened when they didn’t do anything about it after me asking very politely multiple times and them telling me that they couldn’t do anything about it….???? Will never shop again here. Please give your employees some training to help customers in such situations if you wanna keep your customers happy.

Was given this product as a gift and fell in love with it. Had a visit at their burnaby today and might i say how lovely the selection of product and their knowledgeable staff are!I was approached by this young lady who answered my concerns.If you haven’t tried their product i would highly recommend to give them a try.

I love ordinary and their brand and I went to metrotown to get some products from DECIEM. The first moment i walked in I could feel the employees judging me and not engaging in conversation right away. One employee answered a question of mine but just walked away right after and didn’t give great costumer service. My mom had to leave the store due to their bad staring and judgement. I’m not sure if they were judging us, but they did not seem to want to work there. I am happy with my products. But i was frustrated with their costumer service. Worst by far. Whoever is in charge of this store in metrotown should probably go over how to treat guests better with their employees. Very upset.

First time in, employee gave me a dirty look for what I think was a fair question (after she came up to me asking if I was okay) everyone else was cool but definitely sticking to sephora and online shopping after that experience (I'm black if your concerned about my username lol)

I've been using a basic skincare regimen by The Ordinary for years and I love it. Recently my mom had a bad reaction to a different product she used, so I came to the store to find something to help her. I was warmly greeted by Netanyah and she recommended a great antioxidant and provided us with a regime to help recover her skin barrier. And it worked - within two days, my mom's skin returned to normal! I am so impressed by Netanyah's knowledge about the products (composition, which actives can be mixed, etc) and her kind customer service. Thank you again!
