I don’t even wanna give it a one star this place is all about making the sale and no after service! I am not speaking from a personal point as I did not have any transactions with sleep country however, my very good friend who recently had oesophagus cancer surgery requires a specific bed that sleep country sell.. The technicians, the staff are completely out to lunch…sold the bed but it doesn’t work.. You can’t call them because the voicemail box is full. I believe that’s probably due too many complaint calls so they have to keep the voicemail box full get your act together you know who speaking about and fix his bed.

The staff at this store are impatient and seem more focused on paperwork than helping customers. When I asked about the difference between two mattresses, one salesperson briefly mentioned they were different brands and then overwhelmed me with technical jargon about the more expensive option. When I asked about the actual benefits, his response was vague, just saying it provides 'more support.' I suggested it seemed like a gimmick, and instead of addressing my concern, he became defensive and started talking about his son’s expensive hockey gear in order to imply to me that more expensive is better. I was shocked by his unprofessionalism. I was genuinely interested in trying different mattresses and making a decision, but their poor attitude completely turned me off. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

Bought our first Mattress at Sleep Country after 9 years of using our old Queen size we needed a change as it started to sink in and develop uneven bumps. We walk by this location so many times and finally stopped by to check the options.
Sam Lin was our seller and he greeted us and ask if we are looking for anything specific, we explained our situation and budget so he showed us 3 types of Mattress we can try. After 20 mins we decided to take the Firm Kingsdown mattress. The processes was fast and efficient Sam made sure that everything goes well and the delivery was only 2 days, throughout the whole process Sam was very helpful and assisted us with our questions and the delivery progress.
Delivery guys were very fast professional and experts.

Had an awful experience with the sales guy. I went in to look for mattress protectors. The guy suggested me a product that’s like a thin layer of cloth. I asked if there’s a thicker version. He showed me a mattress topper and said, “this is expensive, it’s $399”. I replied, “maybe it’s better to get a new mattress then.” The guy then said, “our mattresses are very expensive” and told me to shop online.
I really didn’t appreciate this interaction given he did not ask about my budget and such. Would avoid this location at all cost!

I was looking for a new bed and wanted to upgrade to a king size. After looking at IKEA I was walking by the Sleep Country store in Burnaby on Kingsway and stopped in on a whim. Vincent and his staff were quick to greet me and spent over an hour showing me the benefits of different setups. They worked tirelessly to find me the very best deals and I ended up buying two twin frames and mattresses, bedding, etc before I left. Delivery and set up was seamless, quick and efficient. Thank you Ryan and Lloyd. I have been getting great sleep’s now and am enjoying the different positions that allow me to read and watch tv in bed with comfort. I am 110% satisfied. Thank you Vincent and team.

We just came out from the store. We were looking for good pillows for both of us. When we came into the store, the male staff only said you may try the pillow by laying down on the bed. That's it! He never came to us to ask for our needs or introduce any pillows to us. There was no other customer beside us.

Avoid Sleep Country like the plague!
Asked what was the policy for a pillow that cost over $200 because of extreme discomfort (woke up with a headache) and the salesmen rudely advised that they are not a pillow rental company.. What?!?

Visited this Sleep Country location to do some preliminary mattress shopping as we were in the process of moving into a new house.
We were greeted by a salesperson who would not leave us alone. Every time we walked up to a mattress, he would come up and tell us 20 different facts about that mattress/brand, then leave. But when we walked to the next mattress, he'd run back and do the same. Over and over and over. It was exhausting.
He didn't listen to anything we said nor did he make suggestions based on what we were looking for. Despite not asking any qualifying questions like a good salesperson should, he would direct us away from higher end mattresses, saying things like "I'd stay away from that, it's the most expensive mattress in the showroom," or "those aren't worth the money," then would bring us to cheaper mattresses that were on sale, even though we had already said we didn't like those ones.
There were also multiple mattresses that were stained due to water leaks in the showroom, and he kept suggesting we lie on them to try them out lol. We didn't have a budget and ended up buying an amazing luxury mattress from The Brick. Guess what? It was also on sale and we ended up getting a great deal because the salesperson there actually listened and recommended a mattress based on what we were both looking for.
I'd avoid this Sleep Country if you can, there are much better stores out there with better selections, pricing, and service.
