There is nothing polite or customer oriented about women who work there. Other reviewers who give 5 stars must be friends or relatives. Like others said earlier, the absolute worst in attitude. Sales women talk to each other loudly in Chinese without offering any help (though not needed in my case, but is a standard in customer service). I dared to ask a question twice about the price and one of them blurted "I already told you what the price is!". The hostility is so palpable. Wrong people doing this job. Will never go there and will advise everyone I know not to go there.

Today I received great customer service from Romia. I went in knowing exactly what I was looking for and they got the shoes for me quickly, gave me some more info about the shoes, and I tried them on and they were awesome shoes in totally new/mint condition. At point of sale, the sales person was very clear with the policy of any sales being final sale and had me initial the receipt to acknowledge. No problem because these high quality shoes are not coming back. I will definitely return to Romia at Metrotown!

I have had mixed experiences with Romia at Metrotown. The first time I came, the sales lady would not allow me to try on both sandals when I was interested in two styles. Fortunately I was able to gauge from trying one sandal that neither style worked.The second time I came back (one or two days later), it was a different sales lady and I explained my difficulty in finding a sandal that fit me with a certain brand. She was able to recommend another style within that brand I had not considered and allowed me to try both sandals, two colours of that style. I found a wonderful pair and bought them right away.Because Romia has strict policies with trying on shoes, a no refund policy (exchange only on full priced and unworn), and is final sale on sale items (just like Aritzia), you can expect that their shoes are always sold in brand new condition, no blemishes whatsoever. However the onus is on the shopper to get it right the first time. I understand why they are so strict, especially with COVID still lingering around!

EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE! I got white leather sneakers and black heels and they were both very comfortable and great design. Just a warning that they only do exchanges, not refunds, and the store clerks are a bit shy but when they saw me holding a shoe for a while (after they knew my size already), they got the box quietly and waited until I came to the benches to sit down and try them on.Also, many of the designs and brands are made in Europe or Japan.

Avoid this store!! The store doesn’t do refund and even doesn’t tell you about that. You can know about it only after when you bought the item and got a receipt. The associates are not polite and argues with you. They do not respect you as a customer!!

I found the customer service terrible. I was just in the store and was ignored until I directly asked questions about size availability and return policy. Shirley was cold, quick with answers and offered no customer service at all. The return policy is nil- I was interested in two pairs of shoes as Christmas gifts, totaling close to $500 but apparently it's all final sales. No wonder this franchise is struggling. So disappointed!
