I was pretty apprehensive as I have had zero experience with cat grooming. I was beyond impressed! Ronnie put myself and Missy immediately at ease. We were in and out in less than a half an hour and he did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. She looks adorable and our house is so much cleaner! I plan to keep up the grooming with Ronnie every couple of months and I highly recommend this to anyone with a longhair. You’re the best Ronnie! See you soon!

Woohoo!!Short backup on why: I was at another local pet shop and I bought these AMAZING freeze dried bully sticks (at $14-17.99 according to the sticker on the product, little did I know I was rung up $29.50 for it ... did not even know. Til I was arranging to pay on the phone for more)... so of course now I'm a tad irked I paid double the price I saw. But. Anyways. Whatever. The prices was a lot higher for the larger bag of chicken discs (we call them that) the Farmland Traditions Jerky... so a bit of thinking I decided to google some going market prices....FARMLAND WITH MP ($25 for 16oz bag, the other store $38 )VITAL FD BULLY STICKS ($22 for 5 pack, the other store $29 )I wanted 2 Bully 1 chicken and a bag of kibbles ($29 for kibbles I found another store that will sell that to me for sale plus $5 coupon I have so it will be around $21) for $147.... So if we minus about $35 for the kibbles that's $110 for 1 bag of chicken and 2 bags of sticks.I got 3 bags of chicken and 3 bags of sticks for $140 (difference of $30 I got 2 bags more of chicken and one more bag of sticks.... This is huge savings!!!)Best part? I ordered it just before 8 pm on Tuesday and it arrived at noon on Wednesday. They beat Amazon on speedWow I'm so impressed. No frills. Simple brown spare box just says maple paw and it doesn't even have invoice. Just the food and on time. I can dig that. And my dog is thrilled.I’ve just ordered my second order during the Thanksgiving long weekend and it came today, Tuesday Oct 10, I ordered it like Oct 8. They delivered it right on time. Texted me to make sure it was left where I’d like it. Photo to show me where exactly it wasAnd I just placed my 3rd order in 3 weeks. About $500 spent now so far and still always perfect.

Went in on Thursday evening looking for flea medication for my cat but didn’t know his weight - either above 4kg or below. After receiving some good advice and what felt like true, genuine care for an animal this person had never and will never meet, we settled on the above 4kg dose. Then he threw in some wet cat food samples and told me to go home, weigh my cat and if he was less than 4kg, don’t open the box and come back for an exchange. Lovely person and told me to join the points club with my next purchase but to keep this receipt so it can count. (Spoiler alert: cat weighed in at 13lbs… my furry dude is going on a diet!!)

We were just traveling through town for one day and I needed a safe place for my dog to stretch his legs after a long flight, and to get a nice bath and tidy while I was busy for a few hours. Christina and Victoria helped plan our stay and upon arrival they were expecting and ready for us. Sabrina the groomer did an exceptional job giving my dog the nail buff and trim exactly as I asked for. My dog enjoyed playing with all the other doggies at daycare. Everyone who works there is also exceptionally kind and welcoming and you really get the vibe of a locally owned community business which feels good to be supporting. Next time I’m visiting Vancouver, I will plan around another daycare and spa appt for my happily retuning pup.

6620 Hastings St, BurnabyI came here for the first time for a cremation after my pacman frog, Murphy, passed. I was embarrassed to be so heartbroken over the death of a frog, but everyone went so far out of their way to support and sympathize with me that I was instantly comfortable. They were so sensitive and kind during the procedure, and allowed me to have him cremated with his favourite log. They listened to my stories about him and treated both me and him with more respect than I'd ever expect for the loss of an amphibian. They even allowed me to upgrade the type of container I'd receive for his cremains. I cannot recommend this clinic enough for their skill at navigating emotionally fraught situations, and I had the distinct impression that these values extend to all of their care. I would go back to see them in an instant.

Went to Single V finally after meaning to try it for over a year.
One of the best cups I've had in a long time. Really makes my normal shots at home seem bad. Truly great espresso. Bright, juicy, florally, but not acidic or bitter. It was wonderfully balanced with so many enjoyable notes. Croissant was great too, but the coffee was near perfect for me. Will definitely try and return when I'm on the area again!

Of all restaurants I've been to, Fraser Park Restaurant by far gives the best value. It may not be some kind of extravagent fine dining restaurant, but it nails homey/homemade food (which, admittedly, is the type of food I prefer). This place is an 11 out of 10 for me, and I'll definitely be coming back.

4919 Kingsway, BurnabyGreat poke bowls and food at this location. Always love a good fresh poke. Ordered the red bowl and the portions were great. The wasabi mayo and the teriyaki sauces have always been my favourite and go very well!
Excellent in terms of selection, they have a wide variety of different toppings you can choose from. Fried crispy onions are really great and add a nice crunch to the bowls. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Salmon and tuna are fresh and have a good taste to them, but my only drawback is that they tend to be a bit heavy on the sesame oil.
Overall I’m pretty satisfied with Pokey Okey. Nice spot to hit up in the Kingsway Burnaby area. Good bowls, excellent service and nice portions. Will come back again.

4800 Kingsway #149, BurnabyIt's a cute small store right next to the T&T supermarket. It does feel interchangeable with many of the other boba shops around in the mall. Nothing in particular stood out to me aside from the fact they sold egg waffles, but service was fast because I had gone on a late night weekday and no one else was around. 0% Sugar Roasted Milk Tea with Mini Boba was surprisingly flavorful. It had a creamy, buttery taste with light chocolate notes. The quality of the drink was mid, but you get what you pay for. The mini boba had clumped together in some parts and wasn't too sweet. It was a decent drink I might try again, but there's a lot of variety on the menu.
