I had my wedding makeup done by Shree (not sure about the spelling) on October 18, and I couldn’t have been happier with the results! From the moment we started, Shree was incredibly professional, warm, and attentive to my needs. She took the time to understand exactly the look I was hoping for and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. The makeup she did was absolutely stunning—natural yet glamorous, enhancing all my features without feeling too heavy. It stayed flawless all afternoon and night, even after hours of celebration! I came here on September 28th looking for some foundation, and since it has been a while since I got one I needed help picking the right shade. I ended up getting help from Sharee (not sure if got her name right), but she was able to answer my questions and picked perfect shade for me. Thank you

Coming into MAC presenting as I did was incredibly stressful, it was my first time trying to understand the basics of makeup or what I could possibly need.
At first I thought I was being dismissed until I realized at that hour there was only one person running the shop as their coworker was on break. I decided to be patient and I was rewarded with kindness and patience.
As someone who’s only recently felt comfortable enough to be their authentic self in a heavily divided world, I started to feel more at ease, and I wasn’t left feeling unwelcome or stupid. No question was unimportant and I left with a sense of confidence that I had been lacking for years..
I appreciate the kindness shown here towards me and I look forward to my full session later today!
I wish I could remember who was working last night, but if you see this, thank you for being patient with me and my girls as they got a bit antsy!

Had an excellent appointment with Larissa, who did my make up for a wedding. She listened to everything I wanted and gave me lots of options for me to choose from as well! She was very gentle and the appointment went super smooth.

Metro location is awesome! Friendly and helpful staff. The makeup artist actually took her time and tried the products on me. Some locations don't even bother, they tell you to apply yourself!

I would do 1 star if it weren’t for the person at the cashier who was very pleasant to me. I normally go to the MAC store at Willowbrook mall in Hudson’s Bay cause the ladies there offer superb service. I’m always almost immediately acknowledged when I go there. Whereas here, a friend of mine who was with me had to ask for someone to assist me. Rose I think was the one who helped me (her name was on my receipt) find some long wearing lipsticks and tested some sample shades on my hand. She seemed annoyed at me, specially when I tried on one of the tester lipsticks.. I dabbed with my finger and didn’t apply the lipstick directly to my lips. She told me it’s not sanitary. I get it she’s right but the way she acted after is what turned me off and I felt really embarrassed and judged. Anyways.. the guy at the counter was super helpful and asked me if I’ve used that type of make up and if I have the proper make up remover for it at home. I ended up buying their oil based make up remover upon his recommendation. I’ve shopped here many times before and this is the first time I’ve had an unpleasant experience though.

I can't remember if I've left a review before, but the crew at MAC metropolis is great! I dove back into MAC during Covid-19,There's a bunch of new people- but the core crew, Dawn, Mina, and Zoey are beyond fantastic! They've all helped me get the perfect colour match, with various products, at one point or another. The new team members I've spoken to have all be nice as well. Also, cannot recommend their concierge program enough- you can text in requests (like new up coming products, or alerts for in-store seminars, etc), and the team is super accommodating!

Platinum blonde short hair woman with glasses (sorry, I don’t remember her name)was very helpful. She found a wonderful foundation color that matched my skin color. Costumer service was excellent! Thank you?
