I wish I could give less than 1star to the photograph department at Lougheed Mall London Drug because of my very unpleasant experience.
The staff were so unprofessional and not respectful at all and took the worst photo of my baby for his passport and just insisting that baby wasn’t cooperating which was a huge lie and the problem was with the edit that was done by the staff on his photo.
The photographer was in a hurry and just wanted to push me to take another photo next time that I can take the baby to the store which is not a convenient option for a just 3month old baby. the service felt rushed and disrespectful. After this experience, I won’t be returning to this branch although I was a loyal customer and always was referring all my family and friends to this store. I’ll have to find somewhere else for my photography needs with the way things are here.

Very poor phone service inside. Good luck getting data. Great staff though.

Like others have written, I echo the poor reviews about the customer service at this location’s photo department. The staff in this department were condescending, slow, and unprofessional. I hope these reviews are taken into consideration by management, as there is a consistent theme in the feedback being provided.

My experience at Lougheed Mall London Drugs was very unpleasant. The staff was not respectful at all. The photographer was in a hurry and didn't take the time to address my concerns. When I pointed out the photo was crooked, she insisted it was fine. Overall, the service felt rushed and disrespectful.
I used to come to the London Drugs Lougheed location for my photos, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. I’ll have to find somewhere else for my photography needs with the way things are here.

I walked in to buy a microphone. I’m not a very tech savvy guy so I didn’t know where microphones were kept or much about them, just that I needed a Blue Yeti. When I asked where the microphones were kept, the man working there asked if I wanted a camera microphone or computer microphone. I was confused by the question so I told him I guess I need a camera microphone and explained I needed it for filming videos, like a podcast situation. He haphazardly pointed at some camera equipment so I asked if they have any Blue Yetis. Instead of being polite or acknowledging the misunderstanding, he raised his voice and told me in a very rude tone that the Blue Yeti is a COMPUTER microphone and not a CAMERA microphone, even though I explained it was for a podcast-like situation. I don’t think making customers feel dumb is acceptable, especially over a misunderstanding because I don’t know about the different microphone types. I don’t need to be talked down to and I feel like once I told him I needed it for a podcast situation he should’ve known what I was trying to ask. But no, he was petty and aggressive over microphone terminology. I expect to be guided when seeking help from people who are working in customer service, especially when it comes to technology. Why work in customer service selling technology when you’re just going to get upset at people who aren’t as familiar with tech terms as you? I expected him to use his knowledge to help me, not to try to make me feel unintelligent because I didn’t know what type of microphone the Blue Yeti is. Looking back I wish I just asked where the Blue Yetis are instead of where the microphones are so he couldn’t have been rude to me. But how could I have known the employee would berate me over such a little misunderstanding. Absolutely terrible job by the man working in the technology section on the night of September 18th last month.

Do NOT get your passport photos done here.
The photo department has a sign that says “Abusive language will not be tolerated.” I can only imagine this sign was put in because this photolab will propel you past space and time to entirely new vistas of rage and frustration. From start to finish, from waiting in line, getting my photo taken and then getting it cut and stamped, took 40 minutes. AND THE PHOTO STILL CAME OUT BLURRY.
The person behind the counter was obviously new, but was left without any supervision. He was clearly lost and didn’t know to use the flash to take a photo (had to do it 2x), didn’t know how to cut the photos (disappeared for 5 minutes to find someone to show him how to cut a photo while the line of customers grew behind me), didn’t know how to stamp the back (kept repeatedly stamping and then wiping it off). I was about to ask for a refund because the wait was becoming insane, and as a started say “Can I please…?” another employee who came to serve the other customers “yeah yeah yeah”’d me and said it would be ready in a second.
I finally got the photos and walked away….but when I checked the envelope, the photo was blurry. And by then the line was still full. No way could I waste ANOTHER 40 minutes waiting for them to get it right.
Don’t get me wrong: It sucks to be new. But this kid was left ALONE with a line of customers and nobody to help or supervise him over processes he clearly wasn’t familiar with. And now I’m currently waiting at a different passport photo place on my lunch break, about the spend ANOTHER $20 on top of the $20 I wasted at this London Drugs.

London Drugs in Burnaby's Lougheed mall has been a delightful shopping store and pharmacy in the area for decades. Friendly staff and great place to find seasonal and weekly specials. Convenient free parking with handicap parking spaces and easily accessible entrance through the mall.

I had an excellent experience at this London Drugs. Recently I was returning a camera as I purchased the wrong item online. Keith helped me with the return process and reassured me my item would be reprocessed as I left. He also followed up with me later that afternoon with a phone call to confirm my transaction. I never leave reviews, but my customer service experience went above expectations!

Quite literally walked in on the 2 employees talking badly about customers who get their passport photos there because “it’s so cheap here”. Luckily for them I didn’t catch the earlier part of their conversation but the condescending tone and her looking shocked when she noticed me has me believe it can’t have been very nice.
Extremely slow, rude and uncaring when having my passport photo taken here. I hated it so much I tossed it before going to a professional photographer and getting a WAY better result. Don’t waste your $20 here, I would much rather have flushed the money down the toilet than to have spent paying these gossiping Karens.

Expect to wait 2+ hours for even for over the counter medicines. Extremely unprofessional and absolute slowest pharmacy I’ve ever encountered, they won’t fill a prescription faxed to them until you call…. Which is not common practice
Hate coming here

The morning of June 13, I went in for a last minute photo scan and print that I need in less than 30 minutes. Even though the photo lab wasn't in for another 90 minutes, this clerk made it happen. Plus, she was so pleasant. 6 out of 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience getting passport photos done here. We came here the other day and all three photos for myself, my husband and daughter got rejected at the passport office. We both took a day off and drove to Langley to submit our passport applications so it was very disappointing. My husbands was slightly blurry, mine had red eye, and my daughter’s mouth was slightly open. The passport office said that this location is known to take unacceptable passport photos. Highly encourage to look elsewhere for this service. I want to also add that we asked to receive the $50 gift card that was promised in their policy if photos were denied and at first the manager said i needed a rejection letter. No where did it say in their policy that it is required. Nevertheless he agreed to give us one but we need to go back due to the gift card system being down. Overall not a great experience and very inconvenient.
