Not sure about the service but huge lineup, none working ATMs, empty hand sanitizers (we are dealing with most dirty product! - money) can’t recall cleanliness but I could say it’s not welcoming like TD - low light, etc.Use in emergency.

Cosette Shiu was so kind, patient and helpful to my elderly father. She truly went over and above to help my father with his bank account in Hong Kong. Everytime we went there she was so welcoming and friendly. Always had a smile on her face. You could tell she really wanted to help us resolve the issue. In the end everything was fixed because of her help! Thank you again Cosette! You are a gem and asset to the company!

I honestly don't know where to start. The staff are ill equipped to deal with customer issues. This is the closest HSBC branch to my home and so I drop in when I need to do some bank work. For the last 5 years the service and availability of staff has deteriorated. Either shut this branch down or fire the trainers/upper management and hire competent ones. This shi* is ridiculous. Service in the middle east and Asia is on point, compared to this third world nonsense thats going on in this branch.

The staff here are amazing - each and everyone of them and especially Ms. Pearl. Whenever I have gone, they have always been so warm and welcoming and ensured I get the best services as quickly as possible. The bank is right inside the Crystal Mall and very conveniently located within the Metrotown neighborhood. I am soon to move to New Westminster but have no intentions to change my bank branch as I value my relationships I have built here more and would love to come back to see these guys! Thank you being the way you are - unbelievable customer service again and again!

Very happy with my experience here. Every time I have been there are 2-3 tellers manning the counters. C.Y. has helped me multiple times and I have found her to be very professional and efficient. The one time I went in with an appointment, I was promptly attended to.

Like the other reviews said, really bad branch. Really busy with few bank tellers. Really poor branch too. A few years ago when I tried to get money order/bank draft to purchase a car they said they couldnt withdraw over 10,000.

The worst service ever been seen in my life.I waited there for 45 minutes and no even one person moved. I went to the ATM to withdraw money, and it didnt have money. This branch is terrible and they have the worst service ever. Also, i noyiced theere are many bad reviews herr, but it seems nobody care for people experiences with this branch. I will post it in CBC news so they will learn how to.deal with the costumes in the futute. I am really thinking to change to another bank.

Worst HSBC branch in terms of teller attendance. My experience today and also a few times before is that they don't care even though there is a long line up for tellers service. I was there this morning at around 11:30 am. (Not lunch hour yet) and I was one of the 9 people queuing for teller service at that time. To my surprise, only 2 tellers were attending at that time when there were at least 5 teller posts inside the place. As a result, I had to queue for around half an hour before I could be serviced. Further to my disappointment, I saw the supervisor sitting at the back of the tellers without reacting positively to the long queue. This HSBC branch has disappointed me a few times and I vow not to go back there again even though I have to walk a few more distance to other branch.

I don't know about the old management, but in my case they have been very supportive, other banks rejected my first time account application, HSBC was very open and friendly, they even respond emails when i have questions and so far I am happy with them. Location for this branch is great.

I wish I could have option to chose no star for this location. The employee refused to serve me by closed gate(3rd party deposit inquire) when I arrived at 4:20pm, which they have 10 more minutes for close. I do realize they have some closing tasks to follow, then do not publish you guys open until 4:30pm since you don’t. Other banks not trading customers like this as l know.

For the larger and newer location than others, this branch actually has slightly less operational hours. Premier clients though has access to the particular Premier teller, since it's usual that each client takes longer, it's actually slower than the regular line-up whenever it has more than 1 teller. Due to the amount of businesses that need access cash, bills may not available all at once, so separate trips may be required; particularly just before new years. The 2 ATMs (one on each floor) tends to alternate being out of order.
