“We have been supporting this family-run business for almost 10 years that has been passed down to the next generation. They are dedicated to delivering excellent service and quality to them is job one.
They specialize in selling a variety of flours, nuts, seeds, grains, oats, spices and dried fruits with their own brand, Kismet. These items originate primarily Africa, the Middle East and other parts of the world.
Their location is convenient and central and there is ample parking at the back of their store.

They also have a great variety of items, from snacks and produce to tools and even clothing ? I usually come here to pick up my packages, and anytime there’s an issue, the staff are kind, efficient, and quick to help resolve it.”

“I live in this area and their prices cannot be beat. I’d advise anybody to stop here first before shopping at the big grocery stores. I couldn’t believe the difference in price for grape tomatoes, broccoli and cauliflower. . Down the street, at a Big grocery store they wanted double the price. Fresh produce and products. Amazing service.”
“Had a great order from them on Uber eats for pick up. Service was kind and they had a good array of authentic Mexican snacks which were fun to try. Highly recommend the ripe plantain chips which were sweet and crunchy. The store was super well stocked with all sorts of snacks and foods and I would totally go back to try other exotic snacks. There is available parking at the front of the store.”

“Nice place to stop by for grossery shopping. This store does not have everything, but most basic products are available. Plus there is always ready to go sets for lunch or diner. After SaveOn took over it became a much better store. I recommend it for your grossery shopping!”
“Went in today to buy some pork butts and was warmly greeted by a fine young man of asiatic descent, think someone called him denny. Had trouble carrying it to my car so him and his strong muscles helped me bring it to my car. Will definitely come back, great service! ??”

“Wow Safeway Kensington has been serving the North Burnaby area since the late 70's. A great location to buy fresh produce, meat, deli and bakery items on my way home. It has changed and renovated a bit over the decades, but it still the local accessable Safeway in the area. A large free parking lot and Starbucks available.”
“The Save On is located at the boarder of Coquitlam and Burnaby. Inside is quite clean. Isles are wide. I like the fact that they do price match so that I don't have to make a trip to Thirty's Food, Safeway etc. One thing I have noticed is how many on sales items they have. They have on sale tag everywhere.”

“Can the management please ask the delivery truck drivers not to HOOT when they come. We are seniors staying in the apartment just above the delivery place and it’s so annoying when they start hooting even on Sundays. Don’t they have any courtesy.
Management should stop them or we have to report this to city and the environment”
“Great meat, deli and grocery shop with a great variety of products imported from Balkan (former Yugoslavia) area. Cevapi, raznjici, sausages and other dried meats are very authentic and good quality. Parking in the back is super convenient too.”
“Visited Save-On-Foods Kingsway today for an Instacart shopping order. Plenty of parking available, which makes the trip easy and stress-free.
The bakery team was especially helpful — they even provided freshly baked cinnamon rolls as a replacement, which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated.
One thing I noticed: many products are stocked deeper inside the shelves. If you’re doing quick shopping, items can be easy to miss unless you take a moment to bend and look closely ?.
Checkout was smooth, and the billing associates were welcoming and polite. Overall, a good shopping experience with helpful staff and great bakery service.”
