I had a good time staying in this hotel.
Most importantly, I lost my wireless earbuds. Special thank to Vanessa Galindo who made a great effort to help me and shipped them to me.

I got 1 star on Doordash today, not sure if the concierge deliver the food to the disabled person upstairs, he didn’t act like he cared to deliver the food to the disabled person upstairs when I told him that was in the instructions in the app and it was very important. I think the 1 star I got today was very likely to be for this order because I don’t really suspect other orders that could lead to this.

There were multiple issues during our stay. We had to switch rooms because the AC didn’t work, then the sick was plugged and WiFi didn’t connect on the TV.
The least baby friendly place to stay because maintenance people came into our room without knocking and woke the baby up. DO NOT STAY WITH BABY

Smart, functional hotel. Friendly staff. Centrally located in Burnaby. Decent breakfast included in the cost of the room. Fairly noisy aircon in the room, but still managed to sleep fine. Worked great for us.

Had multiple issues with the rooms. First we checked in to their suite and the AC didn’t worked, started working after they attempted to fix it, then it broke down again at second night. they didn’t have a different room so we had to get a second room for one night and split the rooms for our family.
Then we got to the second room, the sink is broken and took them 2 hours to fix it.
Then we try to finally relax and watch some tv the INTERNET AT THE TV ISNT WORKING.
Dude we are paying like 450 a night and nothing works. When I tried to ask for refund for two nights I was offer a slight discount on night 1 only.
We have a one year old with us and thought this hotel was prefect for our need but honestly the build quality is just horrible.

Mixed reviews regarding this hotel.
The good.. It's a nice place which is well located, next to a grocery store and a shopping mall. It's about 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver. The rooms are very clean and modern. The staff is extremely helpful and always with a smile.
The bad.. The beds are really uncomfortable. You sink into them and they offer zero to no support. The breakfast is very basic with limited choices. Best Western breakfast looks like a 5 star restaurant. It's disappointing considering the price of a night. The parking is always full and you need to go to the 3rd level to find space. The extra 25$ a night is gauging.

The hotel is fine. Where I have an issue with is the pool. Family’s will bring their kids to the pool (which is fine) but when there are 15-20 kids + at the pool splashing jumping around and getting my belongings and phone all wet, that’s an issue. The parents don’t do anything to control their kids or apologize. It’s impossible to relax at the pool as there are always kids screaming and splashing. I asked the hotel staff to try to calm down the situation or talk to the parents but nothing was done.
I wish they had times specifically for adults only so that we could actually use and relax in the pool. If you’re wanting to use a pool AVOID THIS PLACE. If you’re just here for the room and location then this would be a good option.

I've stayed here many times on business and I am always warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, especially Rafael. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotless, with gorgeous views. The location is great for groceries, eating out, shopping, going to movies. With skytrain a 10 minute walk away, you can get downtown in less than 30 minutes. I also enjoy walks in and around Burnaby Central Park, which is nearby. Love the espresso machine in the lobby!

Rooms: Stayed in the corner suite. Was comfortable with good amenities. Anything we requested was fulfilled almost immediately by housekeeping. Amenities included cookware, coffee machine with coffee, creamer, and sugar provided, great sized fridge/freezer combo, toiletries (excellent shampoo), ironing board with iron, hangars in closet, robes, TVs in both rooms but limited viewing options, balcony had a table and 2 chairs.
Nearby activities: Not much to do around since you're in Burnaby. Some eating options nearby but Station Square was the best option around (recommend checking out Cactus Club Cafe). Metro station close if you want to venture out to Vancouver downtown.
Safety: Well lit area in the suburbs. You will hear fire trucks and/or police alot during the day but not disruptive.
Walkability: Most things around are at a comfortable walking distance.
Food and drinks: Breakfast and evening reception have very limited options but are decent nonetheless. Don't expect the usual eggs, pancakes, waffle, and sausage stations. Good sitting area outside for fresh air but again seating is limited. Would have been great to have at least coffee left out during the day. The small convenience store has very expensive options. There's a boba drinks shop near the elevators above the lobby. Convenience stores around if you need to grab groceries.
Noteworthy details: You need to have Canadian coins for the laundry. If you are from out of town, they will not give you the current exchange rate if you need change. At least they are honest and upfront about it so we were ok with the lower rate.
Pool area is good but the water isn't heated. There is a hot tub on site and a sauna which is a plus. Plenty of pool towels available in the laundry area.
Housekeeping did not come by to check in if we needed anything since we had the "privacy" sign up; however when asked for extra towels, we were told to call it in vs. just handing it to us.
If available, they will let you check in earlier than 4pm which is amazing. Check out is at 12 noon.
The nextdoor malls, Crystal and Metro Station, are not noteworthy.

Best location for Asian food and groceries. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff Gavin is very friendly, helpful. Especially Mr Pimi, engineer he helps me to fix my TV problem twice. Very responsive, cheerful and patient.
Really enjoy my long stay in here.
Food and drinks: East to grab any kinds of foods, huge shopping mall nearby.
