It is fun to be able to see what things have been like in the past, it has a very good atmosphere. You can see people explaining to you what you see and giving you curious facts. Everything is well signposted and clean. There were many children on my visit, so you had to be careful not to bump into any of them. There are many things to see and learn.

Our visit here a week ago was well worth the time. As a parent, I'm glad I could entertain my kids at this well-maintained museum. They have explored the whole place with felicity on their faces. The carousel ride was the crux of the trip.

A time capsule, a piece of history, a rare opportunity to see how Canadians (Vancouverites) lived 100-120 years ago. Burnaby Village has several reconstructed buildings and plenty of genuine artifacts from the early 20th century, and is a must-visit, especially considering that admission is free. We live nearby, so both of my kids are basically growing up here and we know this place by heart.

It's always a magical Christmas get away. It's rare to find something like this for free. Always a holiday highlight.

"This rating is only for the Christmas Lights"This is a free eventThey have a beautiful bridge of a brook at the entrance that they could have decorated to a Christmas welcome, instead the was absolutely nothing. The actual display of lights is just in the junction and up the pathway to the carousel. The lights on trees dont even go to the top. There are 3 trees side by side that they did. Too bad they weren't in the main area. They have a beautiful bridge of a brook at the entrance that they could have decorated to a Christmas welcome, instead the was absolutely nothing.I don't know what the budget was, but they should consider doing more. Just decorating the whole entrance would be amazing. If budget is a problem, then have a minimum donation fee of 5$ and 10$ for a family / group before entering to help with some costs. People would still pay that. It's fun for small kids / toddlers who dont know dont any different but as an adult I was disappointed.

I took my 2 yr old nephew, it was a hit. We got to see a blacksmith and walk through old timey shops and homes. The volunteers were all very well informed and friendly. Sitting on the tram was my nephews favorite part. I really liked the on-site restaurant, convenient parking and historical aspects. Oh and there is a beautiful carousel ?, you may need to wait in a line to ride it though. Great place for family, dates and child friendly.
