This place used to be so good, it was my favourite thrift store. But lately the prices have been outrageous and I’m not finding as good stuff lately.

I used to love this thrift store, but not so much anymore. I don’t know who took it over or who has been pricing things lately but they need a serious reality check. The new “fashion” items at the front of the store for like $30+?? Pardon? You realize that Urban Outfitters (many of the clothing items on that rack were from there) may have a tag on it that SAYS “$60 / $70 / etc.” but that does not mean that’s the actual price they were selling it for. I shop at Urban Outfitters religiously. They constantly put new items on sale PLUS you get an extra 40-50% off of the sale price. This is a very common practice they do. I’ve gotten countless items that say “$115+” for literally $13.99. So no, no one has probably ever purchased those items at that price, nor should they. Give your head a shake for being so greedy. People who shop at this store are not looking to get a “$100” skirt for $40. And just because something is “name brand” does not mean it should have a “special” price for it…like seriously…what. Go back to your regular prices or you will see a huge drop in customers. ??♀️ the choice is yours

Saw this poster the other day saying that they have the stuff the bag event. I went all the way there and they said they canceled the event.

I’m so sad how this store has changed. It was hands down my fave thrift in Burnaby/new west for years. Over the last couple years the prices have gone way up. I’m assuming this resulted in less turnover because the stuff they have in store isn’t as good. I wish thrift stores would stop hiking prices. I understand inflation has increased costs for everyone but it seems like the prices in thrifts are way beyond this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER ADJUSTING HOW YOU PRICES!

Came there at 4:55 and 2 people walked out and said that they are closed even though it’s 5 minutes before closing. Please do not close early. Not happy at all.

I got this 100% wool coat for $9 during their coat and jacket 50% off sale!I love that we are supporting for a good cause too by shopping here.The items here are reasonably priced as well.I will suggest going right when it opens as I saw couple people waiting for a parking spot when I left.Thankful because I will be prepared for the winter this year!
