Dangerous driving! Driver of truck # 161, pulling trailer # 5348 between 7:00pm and 7:15pm on Monday, October 28, 2024, travelling south on Hwy 15 (176 Street) from Highway 1 down to 24th Avenue in Surrey BC needs to have their driver's license suspended. Driver was going at least 30km/hr over the speed limit, with multiple unsafe lane changes. This driver is going to kill somebody the way that he/she drives! Take them off the road! Surprised that in this day and age of technology and E-logs that this driver is able to drive in such an unsafe and reckless manner with it not being noticed by the company?! Why are the trucks not governed for speed, and monitored for bad driving?
Driver of truck # 140 on the other hand, same time, same stretch of road was driving safely, kudos to them!

*Update at the bottom*Today, Nov. 30th around 6:30am, I saw one of their large trucks blow through a really stale yellow light at Canada Way and Kensington Ave in Burnaby. Just as the truck entered the intersection, the light turned red. It was dark and slippery outside, and the truck was going really fast. It was all highly dangerous!Update below. The Safety Manager replied. For someone whose job revolves around safety, and talks about what is legal, one would think they know better. Even at 48km/hour in a 50km/hour area, there's a law called speed relative to conditions. Here's what the BC Motor Vehicle Act reads:"144(1)(c)A person must not drive a motor vehicle on a highwayat a speed that is excessive relative to the road, traffic, visibility or weather conditions"It is obvious this Safety Manager just wanted to clear his driver of wrong. That said, I didn't want the driver to get into trouble. If I had, I would have just called the police. But this driving behaviour looks bad on the company. The company itself needs to do better.

Great service and helpful. They have always been great in delivering my shipments to me and when I needed to circumvent the system, they helped. I had a shipment from Uline that I needed ASAP. They helped me arrange a change to pickup at their warehouse and it was seamless in getting this done. When I arrived the staff in the warehouse was already aware and most helpful. I certainly recommend them.

As I write this, there's a wildfire that has blocked off the only Highway in and out of Port Alberni. With that said, many carriers have taken a detour route to get products into Port Alberni. The reason I give them one star is because we were told that our Bulk foods order, which has been waiting to be shipped from their warehouse, will only be shipped if we pay a "priority fee" for shipment. Otherwise, it can wait in the warehouse, but will also incur a daily charge for storage. I believe it is unethical that instead of shipping out the orders in the order that they were brought into the warehouse, and charging some sort of "golden ticket priority fee", is rather despicable for a company, especially during a wildfire. From now on, we will be making a point to ask that orders that come to our business not be shipped with your company. I hope you enjoy the 50 extra dollars that you got from us, because so far, no other companies have charged us an extra fee for taking the detour.

Argus picked up a secure shrink wrapped pallet from us and delivered a re-wrapped and strapped pallet to our customer, less two boxes. Some of the clay box's had been a little damaged and the pallet had clearly been restacked. From me, to Argus dock, and then to our customer it was not delivered the way it left our warehouse. Now it's on us, Argus claims they delivered just what they picked yet admit it needed more strapping and such. Clearly something happened after it left my shop. No use talking anymore with them. They have all the answers.
