Again this store used to be great. Now they're trying to sell paintings for $3000.00! It's insulting to people who shop in thrifty stores because of low incomes. What is happening to the Salvation Army??

Large selection and friendly staff!! :)However warning to those with epilepsy- The only reason I took a couple stars off is because I couldn’t stay in the store long unfortunately, the lights have a fairly strong strobe effect going on (might not be as noticeable for some but I noticed it right away) and I have a seizure disorder and despite being seizure-free for 5 years now within a minute of being in the store I could feel a potential seizure coming on (once I left the store I was fine). The lights towards the tills seemed to function fine but something funky is going on with the lights towards the back right corner of the store, as well as by the toy section.I just felt it necessary to put this out there incase anyone else with epilepsy or seizure disorders plans on going to this particular location as it’s a potential safety/health concern.Edited to add- when I was in here a few months ago the lights were fine so this must be a fairly new issue.

Very nice thrift store. Clean and bright.Find prices are creeping too high for donated items but still a good place to shop for so many things

My boyfriend and I went to donate a ton of good quality items to this store in Brentwood Bay and the woman working there was so disrespectful, and rude. She seemed annoyed taking our stuff in and very rudely denied some of our items. Not kind, or welcoming at all and it seemed like we were such a bother to her.I almost wanted to donate our things somewhere else.

Friendliest staff, most unique merchandise, literally on the ground providing much needed services to those in need...WHY WOULD YOU GO OR DONATE ANYWHERE ELSE IN VICTORIA??? Why? Ask yourself that at night, ok? Why

I purchased a leather belt from here, many years ago. I have worn it hundreds of times, and often remember the wonderful Salvation Army, and their cool little shop, in Brentwood. I am happy to donate, and to shop there as well.

Prices are jacked way up recently....not sure why? Leather jackets 50 dollars, dresses 15 to 20 dollars, there was a brand new bed sheet set and I googled the brand and pricing and it sells brand new and from the actual brand for cheaper

I wanted to pay but my mask was below my nose as I couldn't see. SAM the gal cashier told me she wouldn't cash me out unless I pulled my mask up...she told me that she hoped my whole family died of Covid and used the F BOMB several times loudly!!! I've never heard such fowl language from anyone serving me. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED!!! Discrimination at its best. There are others who could work there. STAY AWAY

I personally find this one that I visited in Brentwood Bay one of the best thrift stores even while it's small it had a lot of selection... And the prices were epically amazing. I appreciate how the softcover books are $1.99 and the hardcover books are $2.99.That is what I like to see for used and thrift store books that is affordable and so I bought a lot of books, as a lot of other thrift stores have their books priced at $10 or $6 and it's just not something I would ever pay for a used book.Best thrift store in Brentwood Bay had a great cashier he was very friendly he seemed very happy and doing his job.I will definitely be back and I would definitely recommend other people check it out.

The store is reduced in size, fewer hardlines (household) items and focus on clothing.Good selection of quality items for the whole family at good prices. Winter wear on sale while it's still winter in rest of Canada; got a Gap winter jacket for $8.Staff are friendly. The wasn't too busy when I visited.
