“Such a cool little shop. Probably stocking the best vapes in the city and some really interesting snacks (including some cereals I have never seen before). The dude who's always in there when I come is awesome, friendly, and just gives off a chill vibe that I love. The no returns policy is clearly posted and I respect it because having worked in a vape shop, returning vapes is a headache and a half.”
“A unassuming storefront on Hillside is a great Oasis!I went into here, and was floored! Chicken curry Indomie (I'm an indomie addict)!Spicy Chicken Wendy's Pringles!Fulls size Pita, bigger than regular, and performance perfect for meatballs or falafel!!!!The owner has a efficient, clean, and frankly charming store. He's kind, helpful, and friendly. The kind of variety that has Olive bar, fresh cheeses, and BAKLAVA!Will be back! Truly,a time to shop local;bring the bags???”
“Went for the Purolator drop-off desk (tucked away in the back) but stayed for the fancy cheese, Bitcoin ATM, pornography on the walls, chipotle sauce, gangsta hats, knives, bongs and Republican vibes. This place is a true mix and match gem, run presumably by a Mexican family. I'll be back!”

1304 Douglas St, Victoria“Staff is friendly. Once, I got some time to interact with their associate named Rosy.I found her vigilant and honest.Circle k is serving good in spite of the fact homeless revolves around this place the most. I know it’s difficult to handle someone who are high etc.Still, staff is doing well and combating challenges as possible as they can.”

2950 Douglas St, Victoria“Great selection of Korean dishes and snacks.Hard to find kimchi on the island, but you can find it at Winks and so much more. Allen was super friendly and helpful. My new place for korean food supplies.”
“Family run convenience store. Has all the essential items starting from bread and spices to tools and basic hardware. Since it's more of a family run small business, do not expect it to have a lot of variety. Also, you cannot compare the prices with the prices at Walmart or Superstore. The staff are friendly, there was an old lady at the counter who had a smile on her face the whole time.”
“Shop here almost daily due to the convenience of the location (I cannot drive anymore). The family who run it are all great people, any staff I have met are always kind and friendly. Selection is really good. Hours of operation are long, for the late sleepers and early risers. If you are missing an ingredient for dinner/baking chances are they have it at a reasonable price. The samosas and tamarind chutney are absolutely amazing!”

456 Gorge Rd E, Victoria“(How have I not been asked to review this store before now?!?!?!)I LOVE Mega-Mart! As a local family-owned business, this shop is a FANTASTIC place to support. I've been a resident of Burnside-Gorge for almost 10 years now (surviving one relocation), and have been a Mega-Mart customer for just as long--watching their children grow up working the cash register over the years.Unlike several other retailers in the area--who have allowed recent challenges in our neighbourhood to affect their treatment of regular, loyal customers for the worse--this business continues to maintain friendly, accessible service, without making unreasonable demands (or allowing poor treatment) of the people who simply wish to continue shopping there in peace, in spite of all the dangerous and frightening events that have managed to attach themselves to our collective experiences. This family has been so gracious to me, personally (just a random customer, nothing distinguishing or special about me), I have noticed over the years how much care they placed on paying attention to certain things I like (some hard to find elsewhere), always making sure to have them available for me, even checking on whether I'm satisfied with the options, or if I might prefer something a little different. In fact, there are even a few items they brought into regular stock SPECIFICALLY at my request, and, as I remain the only customer who buys them (and they are not exceptionally profitable items), it just demonstrates how much they value the happiness of each individual customer (though lack of immediate competition could allow them to be significantly more indifferent, if they wanted). Also, I find their pricing on the types of things that are NOTORIOUSLY expensive at convenience stores (like OTC medicine, instant coffee, and general merchandise) to be VERY fair--sometimes, even, a real bargain--as it's obvious they simply price based on what it costs them, and not how desperate you're likely to be (or how much pain you might be in) when you need something (another example of their ethical business practice, treating customers as fellow human beings, and not just an income-source ripe for the exploitation).I know this has been a long review, but, after nearly a decade of consistently receiving GREAT treatment from this store, it is both well-deserved and long overdue! If you live/work in the area, I encourage you to patronize them as much as you can for your regular supplies; I doubt you'll be able to COMPLETELY replace your larger-scale, national-chain shopping, but for the items that make sense, you'll increase your own convenience of access, while helping to keep fueling an ethical family business our community is SO lucky to have!”

2132 Keating Cross Rd, Saanichton“Wonderful gas station to visit! Always kind and polite service. The one chick there, Megan. She’s always smiling, polite and willing to help. 1209 Esquimalt Rd, Victoria“Ian's AWESOME. People give him heck for towing their vehicles. WeLl DoNt LeAvE yOuR cAr PaRkEd ThErE. It's not rocket science folks. The parking lot is tiny and if you leave your vehicle parked in his marked spots after leaving his store and going to Memorial Park or La Belle Patate....that's on you. Put yourself in his position. Grow up! Anyways, Ian is great. He works way too much and he's so committed he even has his barber come there so he doesn't have to close. Much respect. I do wish there was a Slurpee machine. That's my only complaint lol. Still 5 ?”

1520 Admirals Rd, Victoria“This is one of the few Circle K locations in Victoria that sells warm foods like hot dogs, taquitos, etc. and that's why I keep coming back. Besides it being the nearest location, there's always a variety of convenience products available, 24/7 and the staff is almost always present there. I come here often to redeem coupons and prizes, and have never been disappointed. The employees here know what they're doing and that's good enough for me.This Circle K is a good stop if you're in, or passing through Esquimalt and need a quick stop for gas, and/or drinks and snacks.”

“I don't think the reviews about the lady who works here are very fair, she's always been kind to me when coming in and once when buying (admittedly quite a few) snacks she gave me some free cookies as a thank you. Quonley's is great and I've never felt unwelcome by any of the staff in the 15+ years I've shopped there.”

10 Burnside Rd W, Saanich“I didn't get the lady's name, but today around 12:30 pm that cashier had seriously great customer service. She asked if I wanted to add to my meal, she wiped the mess on my bag of chips and she offered/threw away the empty cardboard in my hand all without me asking.MVP status right there.”

1327 Douglas St, Victoria“I visit the 7-Eleven in Victoria, regularly, and I'd like to commend Assistant Store Leader, Leslie, for her exceptional service. Leslie's cheerful morning greetings brighten my day before I head to work. She consistently maintains a positive demeanor, making everyone feel welcome and attended to promptly and accurately. Her approach not only enhances the customer experience but truly sets a good standard for service at 7-Eleven.”
“Great staff with a crazy selection of grocery goods, best eggs in town and the canned goods aisle is loaded with items not commonly found in a small grocery store. A lot of camping supplies as well as snacks and drinks galore! Sweet little corner grocer.”
