“Expensive as all heck, but that's not uncommon for island life. Just buy groceries on the way over if doing a day trip. Especially if you're looking for deals. They don't really do them here. And even moreso if you're trying to feed a bunch of people.Lovely staff (one person I didn't like is gone) and quick service. I recommend it but it will hurt your wallet.”

“Great little family shop providing all the essential Asian cooking supplies as well as a selection of other random things.

They will even order stuff in for you if you ask nicely.”

“Nice little "General store" for Horseshoe Bay! Lots of kitchen stuff, tools, and notions you might just need.....and don't want to leave the village to find a hardware store, supermarket, or Walmart!! In addition to groceries, some produce or the sort of stuff you'd find in a 7-Eleven. Little bit of everything!”

“Great staff and service, especially from the 25ish year old women. One very happy and the other aggressively friendly. Most items in the store are way over-priced (isn’t everything kind of nowadays)? A bit more and better selection of food would be nice. Though- the Chinese hot dog bun is a nice choice to have.”

“Little general store & cafe that is worth a stop if you are heading from Vancouver up to Squamish/Whistler.I already was planning on driving up north to Squamish so I knew I wanted to stop here since I remember getting a really good scone here a few years back. I made sure to download the offline Google map before heading out because I know service is spotty in the area.As the name states the place is a combined general (convenience) story and cafe. It has a parking lot right at front so parking is easy. I went with a caramel macchiato & the only scone that was left which was cheese scone. I'm pretty sure the place gets limited fresh backed goods and all the good ones sell out earlier in the morning. It was afternoon so pickings were limited & sadly my scone was a little stale. Luckily the caramel macchiato made up for it. It was a really good balance of balanced sweetness from the caramel & what tasted like med/dark toast coffee. Nice, hot & flavorful on a cold day. It was even more enjoyable because the counter top/bar seating faces the water outside.Aside from the usual cafe, they also sell local beer which you can even enjoy outside if you so please. The general store part contains many of usual goods you'd usually find. I don't have a photo but they had this spicy ketchup chip that was very good.Oh & if you do make this stop (& you should) be sure to check out the nearby "waterfall." It's to your right as you exit.the store, just up the little hill. It's worth the short walk.I plan to go to Whistler the next time I'm in Vancouver and I also plan to stop here once again.”

“The owner is polite and the shop has a broad selection of snacks, drinks, etc. The place is also commonly open until 11pm which has really been helpful during my time on campus.”

“Great experience! Had accidentally left my sunglasses in the store and the store employee found them and put them on hold for me behind the counter until I was able to retrieve them. Thank you!”
