Randy was the absolute worst manager I’ve ever dealt with. I needed to exchange a jersey bought from grandparents back east that was one size too big. The jersey had all the original sport chek tags and had never been worn. It got here and I went to exchange it the following day. I did not have the original receipt and Randy told me there was nothing he could do, was quite rude and did not offer any suggestions as to how we could get it resolved. I asked for his name so that I could file a complaint and he would not give it to me. After asking for his name he called security over. I was treated like a criminal, instead of a paying and returning customer. They way he escalated things was astounding to me, I can’t believe a manager acted this way. I was able to find out his name from another employee the following day. I then went to the Chilliwack Sport Chek and was treated very well and the manager went above and beyond to help me. I will never shop at the abbostford Sport Chek again and I plan on returning all the xmas gifts I’ve bought from the store.

One star is generous !!! Zero would be my choice but can’t pick zero stars. I’ve never had a worse experience in a retail store than I just had with sport chek. Unfriendly, unhelpful, unprofessional, unknowledgeable are just a few words I’d use to describe the employees at this store. One employee tried to tell me they didn’t carry a brand of clothing that was clearly on their website that I ended up finding on my own in the store. Another employee I asked for help wouldn’t even give me the time of day … too busy gossiping to another lady in a different language, guess English is too hard to understand for her.
Please read the reviews, don’t waste your time going here …. I managed to get everything I needed at other stores with helpful employees !! I’ll never go back to sport chek !!! Need a smart watch, Best Buy is better …. Need a nice hoodie, I recommend below the belt !!

Hire people that want to help people with shoe sizes. We requested help from cashier…no one came and we let her know aa we were leaving. She asked to wait and she would call someone . No thanks. Empty store. This is why online shopping works.

I'm so done with this place. I've been in here a half dozen times this year wanting to buy new shoes. It's impossible to get anyone to help to start with. Today an older guy comes up and asks if I need help. I said "I need shoes but have no idea what is what anymore". Shoes have become ridiculously expensive, and all have some "purpose" it seems. His response was "ok" and he turned and walked away. Unreal. What happened to the days where shoes stores would ask your needs, measure your feet, direct you to the best kind of shoe for your needs and make sure the fit is right?
I'm done sport Chek. You are absolutely awful. The only store that might be a little worse is foot locker.

What a bad experience with this location. I just bought shoes 2 days ago need one size up but without box they don't want to look at the shoes. Sometimes people don't read fine prints. Maybe you guys need to let people know if they have to return. They need to keep the box.

RACIST MANAGER (older white woman). My son (an infant) and I were literally turned away at the door and not allowed into the store because I'm black.
Read the reviews and DO NOT shop here!!!!!!! After this disgusting experience I won’t even shop online either. Go to Lululemon or better yet Amazon where ALL customers are treated with respect regardless of race. Shame on the manager that such blatant racism is still happening in 2024.

Like the other one star reviews… the older male management is insufferable. He does not treat his employees with respect and is power hungry to say the least. The employees are pleasant and helpful. The store needs newer merchandise. Management should be doing their job instead of micromanaging staff and shoppers.

One of the managers, the older guy, Phil I believe was extremely un pleasant to deal with and made being in the store getting help from another employee extremely difficult and stressful.

Just now at 430 on Tues the 21 of May 2024. Website says you have stanley mugs went in and asked older gentlemen at the front rude as he'll won't go in there again.
