Horrible sanitation practices! Recently changed ownership to dhesi meat shop from highpoint, but kept all the old review so don't listen to anything more than a few months old. Went in a number of times a couple times the chicken smelled off when I got home, but that happens at pretty much every meat shop. However last time when I got home the guy left a quite bloody bandaid stuck to my bag. That along with the fact they don't wear gloves when portioning your order makes me fear for what horrible cross-contamination not just from the meat, but also the humans is going on behind the scenes. Definitely will never be back.

I’m curious if this is an actual business or a money laundering shop… walked in today and they barely had any meat.. zero beef.. and the place smells of glue.. definitely won’t be my go to “meat shop”

Friendly, accommodating staff. High quality product.While visiting family in Abbotsford, I was craving a good ribeye steak.They had no ribeye in the display, but said they could easily cut me one. The butcher brought it out for me to have a look at the marbling, etc, and it was so nice looking that it was a done deal already.Ended up being the best ribeye that I have ever purchased from a butcher.I had heard about their delicious marinated chicken, so I was so pleased that their beef was just as amazing.Will definitely visit again.
