My 82 year old dad had a small leak in the heater core of his van. He was in North Van so he put some stop leak in the radiator so he could get the vehicle to our place in Mission. He took his van to Gerry's and asked to have them replace his heater core....a job worth $1500-2000. They called him back a short while later and had pressured the cooling system and there was no leak showing at all. Suggested he drive it until the leak showed again....didn't want to do a job that wasn't needed. I really appreciated their honesty and willingness to help and older person.

I can't speak to price as I don't get quotes and shop around, but I've been coming here because of the quality of customer service and professionalism.

Was once a business to recommend. No longer since it became a corporate franchise. I tried using their online booking. No response. I rented a U-Haul from here last year. The guy at the counter was completely lost on how to do the computer work. Maybe he was new but no one else at the counter was willing to assist him. If the mechanics have not changed I could still recommend the shop skills.

Gave me an mis-diagnosis of my vehicles on a few occasions. They were going to charge me 2 grand for a job that ended up costing me 200 to fix myself. The part I ended up replacing wasn’t even the part they said was broken, which evidently had no damage like they said it did after I had checked for myself. Total money grab.

This company did some repairs for me in the past and the work was good. Before it was a Big O. Can't really say now as I tried booking online and never got a reply via email or a call. If they did call they left no message.

I am sharing my disheartening experience to caution potential customers about this matter before engaging with Gerry's OK Tire North Abbotsford.I had contacted "Gerry's OK Tire North Abbotsford" garage a day prior to schedule service for my vehicle, providing a detailed description of the issues and even mentioning that I possessed certified spare parts to expedite the repair process.Upon arrival at the scheduled appointment time of 12:30 pm, I sought clarification from the clerk, Sam.B, regarding the service, confirming readiness, repair duration, and cost. I was provided with an estimate of two hours at a rate of $139 per hour and was led to believe that I would receive a call upon completion of the service.However, after waiting for an hour, I was informed by Sam.B that the necessary tools for one of the services were unavailable. Consequently, despite my intention to seek assistance elsewhere, i was unable to retrieve the car as it was already on the lift. To my surprise, the garage recalculated the service duration to 3.35 hours, significantly deviating from the initially agreed-upon timeframe. When I requested clarification, I was met with a denial of any prior conversation or agreement.This experience was deeply disappointing and distressing. Arriving at the garage at 12:30 pm, being informed an hour later of the service impossibility, and then, at 3:02 pm, receiving a bill for 3.35 hours is unacceptable.Despite feeling cornered, I settled the inflated bill as I had no immediate recourse, maintaining composure before leaving for home. I am now burdened with finding an honest garage to complete the repairs, compounding the initial inconvenience.As someone who values honesty and integrity, encountering what I perceive as deceit and exploitation in this situation has deeply troubled me.

I brought my Tesla model Y in for a winter tire swap and was so impressed with the service and how smooth my car drives after. Everyone there is so friendly, knowledgable and the waiting area is very comfortable. Sam, one of the owners even has treats for the doggies! While waiting, I walked down the street to the Matsqui Bridge trail along the water. 5/5 recommend for sure! Great place.

I called around looking for a shop available to repair my truck so it would be ready to go before the long weekend. Got lucky with an opening with these guys at Gerrys Automotive which was one of the better shops I have dealt with. Very friendly staff, fast service and a loaner vehicle at a better price than what I had already rented. So I saved money, they had the issues diagnosed then repaired in 2 days while working with my long hours work schedule. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for work to be done on their vehicle. Excellent all around service. Thanks guys I will be back soon.Services: Electrical repair
