The welcoming feeling I received at this SPCA recently was incredible! From the cleanliness to the care each animal receives five stars all around!! The staff are all true animal lovers doing the best they can. Such a tough job to ensure every pet is happy and cared for. There is a thoughtful adoption process they do to spend to match pets with their right forever homes. Visiting this SPCA showed me the importance of animal adoption as they really house and care for every single animal as their own. I Highly recommended this location for potential pet owners!

I really appreciate the staff at this SPCA, they will answer any questions you have about the cat (or dog or bunny ☺️) you are hoping to adopt, they spend so much time caring for them so have a lot of insight into each animals personality and are dedicated to finding them good homes. Thank you for all the work you guys do.

I've been looking into adopting a cat and the staff here were fantastic with answering all my questions about the process, what to expect, and suggestions on keeping my new furry friend happy and healthy! I can't imagine the staff here have an easy job with what they see, but they've all been so friendly and helpful! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

If I could give this location more than 5 stars I would. The staff were incredibly friendly and were able to answer all of the questions I had. It was such a fantastic experience. I refer everyone and anyone I know to the Abbotsford location. They are doing utmost and definitely aren't receiving the praise that they should be.

Was at the Old Yale fundraiser— wow what an amazing team!! Dacey, Haley, Syd and Sara are such amazing assets to the team, their love for animals is so clear. I’m so glad to have been involved with this amazing event!

I have now adopted two amazing dogs from this location. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help. It was a wonderful experience all around.

I have visited this shelter on several occasions hoping to find the right cat for my family. Every visit has been a good experience so far. The receptionist is always quick to greet us with a smile and eager to tell us about the animals available. When I asked about visiting with the dogs, I was kindly told that its by appointment only but she did show me their adoption summaries and offered an application - she was very helpful, though I wasn't seriously looking for a dog. Will definitely adopt a cat through them.

Super friendly staff! Helped my wife with a stray kitty immediately. They technically opened at 1pm, but called her as soon as they received her email. She dropped off the kitty earlier than their posted opening. We were so appreciative that they responded so promptly, and were very kind, supportive and non judgemental.
It was very clean inside and very organized. Thank you Abby SPCA!

Adopted a very shy and badly injured female cat from them 5yrs ago and she's just amazing to this day. The staff and volunteers there are so amazing and helpful.

Doesn't care about animals well being. Refuses surrenders which causes tragedy.
