The staff is generally really nice..
there's a nice guy there that I got 4 u-bolts made up... and he was very kind. then I got this guy named Mike today, having a bad day ,probably has major issues that he brings to work with him.. this is my second encounter with him, and the first encounters roughly the same showing bad attitude towards my questions..
this guy Mike doesn't like me at all, I have no idea why..
I brought in a short u bolt
and told him that this is an example of what I need
also told him that it was a u-bolt that was previously made at his establishment..
I told him I need the u-bolts longer than the ones that I have and that I needed it wider than then one that I brought in for an example..
he went into the back of the room and bent the exact same u-bolt that I had
and blamed everything on me.. his mind is not at work it's completely on some other different issue that he has..
also brought in a axle plate that was bent..
and he told me he was not going to use his press machine to straighten my plate that was bent.
I went to ( Carrier Spring Service )King park
not only did they bend my axle plate back into the right position free of charge.. but they made my u-bolts exactly the way I explained to Mike..
very happy with carrier spring they will get all my business and a lot of my friends and family and businesses..

Great shop for suspension work. Fair prices. Do not go here for driveline work. Went in with a light vibration left with a bad shake. After getting it fixed at another shop I spoke to abby spring about what the other shop found. I was shouted at by the owner. Not the response I was hoping for after being a customer for so long.

My story is that after going back to Abby Spring 4 times to have my driveshaft fixed, they finally got it to a point of it being usable. That is after the owner of Abby Spring yelled at me that it is not the driveshaft but something else. Suggesting to me that they could NOT have assembled the driveshaft wrong (out of phase), when in fact they did, making the owner of Abby Spring either a liar or a mechanic who doesn’t know his stuff, after leaving me with a badly repaired driveshaft that still wobbled after they welded a new barrel on the yoke ends. When confronted, they would not admit it to me, even as I walked in on their attempt to repair their initial repair.
To my horror I literally saw them attempting to straighten their repair by beating on the driveshaft with a hammer as it wobbled on their balancing machine. Welding larger than normal weights on the driveshaft to counterbalance the bent driveshaft, they finally got it to balance.
I now have a badly repaired driveshaft that they smashed with a hammer to straighten the new part that was welded on crooked, but at least it is now phased right and somewhat balanced.
With absolutely no apologies from them I drove the truck home. It now seems fixed, as it no longer vibrates, but my mind goes to the driveshaft that I know still wobbles!
Good news…. They did not try to charge me for the 4 times I went in to get the truck fixed, other than the initial repair.
Bad news…. After being lied to several times, and the shop staff and management trying to pass the buck back to me, I left their facility with a very, very, very bad taste in my mouth!!!
Nice try Mike!! Next time just admit to your mistakes and maybe you will be a happier person, and your customer will be as well. It is far easier, as a customer to understand errors can be made, when they are told the truth and better manners are used as the person in the wrong simply admits it.

I've been there a few times now to get my front driveshaft built, plus a trail spare for my 93 Toyota pickup with a solid axle swap. They've done a great job and always get it done incredibly quickly. I'll be back for a spring re-arch for my rear leaf springs!
