Untuckit Announces Expansion with 14 New Stores in 2024

The apparel brand Untuckit plans to open 14 new stores in the U.S., Canada, and U.K. by the end of 2024.

"Since opening our first store in 2015, Untuckit locations have been instrumental in driving the business forward as a vital growth initiative," said founder Chris Riccobono. "They remain an integral part of our overall expansion strategy."

The new locations will give Untuckit 84 total stores, representing 8.6% increase by summer 2024. The goal is achieving 17% total expansion by the end of 2024.

The first three stores will open in Southern California at Brea Mall, The Shops at Mission Viejo, and Del Amo Fashion Center. Loc8NearMe previously reported that an Untuckit store is also coming to Menlo Park Mall in Edison, New Jersey.

Other cities getting new Untuckit stores in 2024 include Buford, Georgia; Estero, Florida; and South Huntington, New York. The tech-enabled locations range from 1,400 to 2,500 square feet. The company might also expand internationally in North America and Europe soon.

Untuckit used AI technology from Placer.ai to pick the best store locations based on data models. Its tech-focused stores offer free styling, gift wrapping services, and text-to-checkout.

"We believe expanding retail is how we'll bring Untuckit to every household in America and beyond. But timing is critical," Riccobono stated. "We used AI to process all the critical data and create models that show us the best time to open."

The retail push comes after the company raised $30 million in investment money back in 2017 to help fund its growth plans. After starting with just untucked men's shirts, Untuckit has been profitable for 2 years while expanding into a full casual clothing brand, including women's styles.
