Aldi, Walmart, Amazon, and Target Offer Thanksgiving Deals Under $5 Per Person
Major US retailers are serving up deals on Thanksgiving meals to help families celebrate without breaking the bank. With prices on holiday staples slashed, shoppers can enjoy a traditional feast for less than $5 per person at some stores.
Aldi
The discount grocer is bringing back its lowest-priced Thanksgiving meal deal since 2019. Aldi's shopping list includes a Butterball turkey, spices, gravy, rolls, mac & cheese, stuffing, and ingredients for homemade sides and pumpkin pie. This spread feeds a family for under $4.70 per person.
"Every day at Aldi, we are focused on finding ways to deliver the lowest possible prices for our customers – and this Thanksgiving is no different," said Jason Hart, Aldi's CEO. "We worked hard this Thanksgiving to deliver the best value and quality products so everyone can enjoy a traditional meal with family and friends without having to scale back."
Walmart
For the eighth year running, Walmart is offering a discounted Thanksgiving meal through Christmas Eve. The deal features 29 items, including a turkey at $.88/lb., sides, and desserts, designed to feed eight people for less than $7 each. Shoppers can buy in-store, online for pickup, or have the meal delivered.
"Some of the holiday's most special moments take place around the dinner table. At Walmart, we are committed to offering customers even deeper savings on top of our every day low prices for all their mealtime needs," said John Laney, executive VP of food at Walmart U.S.
Amazon Fresh
Amazon's grocery chain is providing a Thanksgiving basket for under $30, feeding six people. From Nov. 6-28, shoppers can find deals on Butterball turkeys at $0.49/lb. and Amazon-brand sides and desserts, with extra discounts for Prime members.
