“Southgate Shopping Center has been a part of my life since the early seventies. Several large grocery stores have come and gone that were located there. Some have gone out of business or relocated. It had a large department store called Woolco and a well known shoe store where I and others that grew up in south Memphis shopped there. I got my first social security card from an office at Southgate. My PCP is located there and I have my prescription meds filled at the Regional One pharmacy located inside the Cash Saver grocery store at Southgate. Southgate and Eastgate Shopping Centers both received a facelift within the past year or two and they look good ?Eastgate also is and has been a part of my life since the seventies.”
“There is a hair place there with 50% of everything in the store til next month. Sorry ladies, they are all out of ALL edge control products. However, they do have gel and a large variety of other products left. Don't know the name of the store but it's closer to the west end of the parking lot. I don't believe it's but 2 or 3 stores there period.”

“This strip houses businesses our community depends on. The owners of this property need to do a better job maintaining their hvac system, monitoring the condition of their parking lot and exterior north-facing wall, and keeping the parking lot free of litter and debris. Two businesses I visit frequently are without air conditioning (in 92-degree weather) and have been for two weeks now. Please take care of these businesses so they can take care of you.”
