Staff was very friendly, bed was very comfortable. The shower was not clean, we had to wash the hair out before we could take a shower. The room it's self was very nice. Traffic noise was horrible, just to close to the interstate.

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. We came for a football game so we only needed a room for 2 nights. When we checked in we were greeted by 2 friendly gentlemen, our room was very clean, and it was close to many restaurants and a quick drive to the stadium. Every staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful (housekeeping, and the front desk), I want to make sure to emphasize this because I read several reviews saying the staff was rude, but definitely not in our experience! Thank you from Iowa!

If you are on the road, this is a good place to stay one night. Just make sure that you request a room not facing the highway. That is vet noisy.

Get to the breakfast early if you want food... They wouldn't replace some of the items that ran out.

The hotel itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. If your light sleeper and since the highway is very loud, you may want to get a room furthest away from the highway or bring some earplugs. Enjoy.11/28/23 Be aware that due to road construction,, our GPS took us off Highway 55 north and rerouted us. Warning do not get off I 55. Your best bet is to stay on it even if you had to endure a little bit of traffic and extra time.

Not going back, anything I asked the clerk couldn’t do. I emailed them asking for the same: my invoice, they called me back to repeat the same excuse.I called their corporate people, they confirmed that the hotel clerk was wrong resolving my ask in no time. Guess is the proximity to the highway blocking their desire to actually service a customer paying $170 average for a room with nothing special, un replenished coffee and condiments, and a run-down unhealthy breakfast offering. The gym was missing dumbbell weights, no water on the dispenser, no courtesy towels either. It all matched the lackadaisical service at the counter

Pros: solid free breakfast, cold AC, economical. Cons: the loudest highway noise I've ever dealt with, and it's weirdly difficult to get onto I-55 Northbound; inept night staff couldn't figure out anything without day-staff help and insisted on "company policies" that were not consistent with plenty of other HIEs.

Absolutely horrible experience. I made this reservation for my husband who was traveling. He is a disabled veteran and I booked him for the military rate. When he arrived he was asked for his ID which he gladly provided. He was immediately told that I shouldn’t have booked it that way because he was “ONLY A DISABLED VETERAN” the rate was only for military/government business and travel. I DO NOT have a problem with the policy, I didn’t read the “fine print”. The staff was not only rude but disrespectful to my husband. If he wasn’t hurting and exhausted he would have search for another hotel. I wish I could say that was the only bad experience (as if that wasn’t enough), but he order a pizza to be delivered. Upon the delivery person arriving at the hotel the front desk called up to his room and informed him the delivery was there and that he had to come down to the lobby to get it. He was told it was against hotel policy to allow the delivery person to go up to the room to deliver. He had such a bad experience that he was not able to even able to get a good nights sleep. Disrespecting our veterans and soldiers this way is not acceptable. He didn’t make the mistake selecting the military rate, I did. Definitely not the type of service that you expect from anyone in the hospitality industry. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND! Holiday Inn the is a big failure
