Very nice hotel! The room and bathroom were super clean! The front desk lady was super nice ?
Rooms: The room was very clean, and so was the bathroom. I like the design of the walk-in shower, only issue I had is that there is no place to hang your towel in the shower.
Nearby activities: There are some good restaurants nearby, and there is a movie theater walking distance away.
Safety: This area seems safe.
Walkability: There is a movie theater, walking distance nearby. Nearby restaurants are walkable, but I’d recommend taking your car.

Update: GM Mike Patel told me to contact the site I booked with for a refund. I reached out to that site, and was quickly approved for a refund, but Mr. Patel still declined to refund me! He instead decided to keep my money and threaten me. Stay far away! The people who work here are not good people.
While checking in, I was charged a much higher rate than advertised due to my support animal. I was asked to provide written proof that I am disabled, which is a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. After I provided documentation, manager Mike Patel stated that the extra charge would not be waived. Fine. But, when I politely asked for a refund since he was demanding nearly double the advertised rate, which I could not afford, Mr. Patel quickly became belligerent. He declined to accommodate me or provide a refund, leaving me stranded late at night. He offered no problem solving or customer service. Instead, he talked over me, yelled at me, and threatened to call the police repeatedly until I left. He was only concerned about keeping my money and removing me from sight. I've honestly never encountered a person as disrespectful as Mike Patel working in any customer service role.

The room was facing interstate. I heard the traffic all night. Not rested. Breakfast is typical make your own waffle, eggs, sausage, yogurt, juice, and coffee.
Clean space and friendly. I just wish I would have asked for room across the hall away from traffic noise.

It was clean. The breakfast was good. My only complaint is in the bathroom the floor was pilling up. Looked fine before walking on it but was bubbled and must of had water damage to make it pill up. Type put in there was not ment for bathroom.

The front desk lady, Mary was amazing! She was so helpful and understanding. Every hotel in the area was booked and she was able to get us in at the last second! She was the only one there and was super busy, but her attitude didn't reflect anything but happiness! She alone is the reason I'd stay there again. My only complaint is that there was no hot tub. The shower pressure was wonderful ! Beds were comfortable,and the rooms were clean.! The room did smell like stale smoke but it didn't affect our stay. Overall the pros outweighed the cons!

No real complaints. Just wish the AC was a lil more like home. It was cold, just not REALLY cold. Front staff (especially Cody) was amazing. Nice, standard breakfast. Good location. Walk to a movie theater. And within 2 - 3 miles of pretty much anything else you need. All the fast food stops, steak house, walmart, CVS, etc.
Nearby activities: Next door to Movie Theater. City Park, 10 - 25 miles to bowling allies, lil night life downtown ft Smith.
Food and drinks: 2 - 3 to Fast Food, Steak House, Chinese Buffett, within 10 - 15 miles to EVERYTHING

A little off of Fayetteville Rd on Pointer Trail. Quick and courteous check in. Lobby is clean and nicely decorated. Room is clean. Close to lots of dining options.

Great customer service and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Very pleased with the lady at the front desk and how she was helpful in negotiating the room price..... due to the price it was giving online.
Rooms: The first hotel I've ever been in with all hardwood floors!

The woman who checked us in was very very rude and condescending.
I looked up hotels on our way here and on their very own website it was $30 cheaper. She argued with me about it being a third party or because I was a member. Nope. So I booked online while standing at the counter. She even scared off the people behind us.
Ice machine is out of order.

My wife and I stayed here one night (arrived Saturday 5/25/25) on our trip back to Alabama from Arizona and everything was great! Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was good, and the quality of the food itself was good as well. Plenty of parking here with a movie theater right next door so if you’re there multiple days there’s entertainment within walking distance! Great nights stay for us and I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone and we’d definitely stay here again if we ever come through Van Buren again!

I changed the reservation dates in advance. The Choice Hotel manager said they would waive the rescheduling fee. When I checked in, the front desk clerk charged me an extra fee for rescheduling. She tried to charge a fee for our service dog. We had to prove she was trained as a service dog and show documentation.
The room was great and clean. Breakfast food was good.
