Communication is a challenge with Gary’s Floor and Home. I noticed they recently got rid of their website and email capability. Are they redoing it? You either have to go to the store in person to speak with your sales rep or call and hope you get a call back after multiple messages. At one point we even wondered if our sales person was still employed, we politely tried to reach him for over 6 weeks. Finally had to have our builder make a phone call - that seemed to get a response.
We have not had floors installed by them yet, but have things picked out. Not feeling confident in this company if this is how they handle the sales process.
They carry a lot of private label options at a good price, but I wonder about who really backs the warranty if you can’t get solid information about the manufacturer.
The sales people are always very kind, but I am concerned about the install process and service afterwards. The sales process so far has not been smooth and perhaps is a red flag for what may be to come if we continue giving them the opportunity.

Consistent with other reviews, our carpeted stairs were installed poorly. . So poorly the company said the work had to be completely redone with new material. The second installation crew, different from the first, decided to use the carpet from the first install instead of using the new materials they had. So the poorly cut carpet from the first time was used again…. You can guess how that went. The stairs look awful. The warranty lady in California never returned any of my messages. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Expensive + poor work = a real crummy deal for me and you.

We are very happy with our new floors from Gary's Floor and Home in Springdale. They look so good! The staff was great to deal with, the installers did a fantastic job, the price was reasonable, and we highly recommend this store to anyone who needs new flooring!!

EDIT: There was a lot of back and forth, but I finally have a floor I'm very happy about. After some time, they did honor their install warranty and fixed multiple problems that arose from the initial install.
Overview: This store seems to have the best choices for flooring options compared to competitors, including a style that we loved and didn't find elsewhere. It was slightly higher priced than competitors, but for the style we wanted, we thought it worth it. There were some delays with install and some trouble with communications, but overall, not too slow. Installers did a great job preparing, cutting floor, and laying it down. They did a pretty bad job on most of the transitions (apparently even used the wrong material), and though it was pointed out before they left, they didn't want to fix it before they left and even got pretty rude.
So I called the warranty service same afternoon, and called my salesperson. They were friendly enough about it, but they were SLOW to try to fix the problem. Communication with their warranty / customer service was inconsistent and I had to do pretty much all the follow-up myself, very rarely hearing back from their customer service person, even at the time that they told me they expected to be ready to fix it. After a fair bit of me repeatedly contacting them, about a month later they came out to try to fix it, but didn't have the right material again, and again got a bit rude (though it was a new person).
A couple weeks later they finally came with the right material, and this time they were friendly (same person), and while working they verified with me about making sure I was satisfied with the work (I appreciated this). However, when I removed the tape a day later, I could see there were still a few smaller problems and a couple damaged pieces. So I went through the process again (again, communication with customer service / warranty was inconsistent, not getting follow-ups as I should've), but all much faster this time (because I called back sooner), and the following week they were back out to fix it. This time they finally got it all fixed just right, no damaged pieces, no problems, and again were very friendly when making the final repairs.
So, the process was not nearly as smooth and trouble-free as it should've been. It would've been great if they got it right the first time (as they almost did - all except the transitions). It would've been great if they communicated well and followed-up with communication like they should've (instead of me having to always follow up). It would've been great if I didn't have a couple instances of their workers being fairly rude. But they did honor their install warranty through multiple requests, and I believe they intend to continue honoring their warranty. Ultimately I have a floor I'm very satisfied and happy with and I think is worth what I paid (minus the headache of following up on the problems).
I'm not sure I'd recommend them as your first choice (though I don't have direct experience with plank floor install from their competitors, so possibly the others aren't any better). But if you're looking for material quality/style that you want just right for your look/goal, and you're not finding it elsewhere, then you may very well find it at Gary's Floor and Home for a reasonable price. And though there might be mistakes and it might be a challenge to get them fixed, I do believe they'll honor their warranty and make it all right eventually. So I would recommend them but with those reservations based off my own experience.

This was my first time to buy flooring. Chris Nicholson made it easy. He asked questions, measured our kitchen and walked us through our options. When we were done, I was relieved and I now feel as if the rest of the house will be easy.

Chris has a whole crew and Carpet One did an amazing job at my house. They were fast and did a beautiful job on insulation. It took very little time and now I have beautiful carpet!

Rob at Carpet One has been amazing!! We were moving in from out of state and he helped us over every hurdle and last minute change that was thrown our way. We were able to move in with new flooring in place! We will absolutely be using Carpet One for all our flooring needs.

Had the best experience with Carpet One in Springdale, AR from start to finish A+. Chris Nicholson helped us pick the type and color and it was spot on. Crew that put it in was great and even helped out pointing put a sink was leaking. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

We only had a closet to re-carpet and we were given the same quality service as someone with a large project. Chris was extremely helpful in choosing what we needed. Will definitely come back next time we need flooring.

We are finishing building our home in Gravette. From the moment we walked into the store in Springdale, the Store Manager (Chris Nicholson) greeted us at the front door and walked us through every flooring option they had. Chris continued to work with us for the next 6 months, answering every question we had along the way in a timely and professional manner. He was by far the most pleasant and easy sub to deal with in this entire process. We appreciate the dedication and customer service that Chris provided. It is clear that he is very knowledgeable with flooring and customer centered. If I had to build another house, there are a lot of decisions I would change, however, choosing Chris and the Carpet One staff in Springdale would be a decision I would make every time! Thank you Chris for the outstanding customer service and support!

Carpet One has been fantastic. We bought an older home last year and immediately began renovations. Rick Gann at Carpet One has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what could work in our home. We are thrilled with the outcome of our floors and would definitely use these guys again and again. Highly recommended!
