Nice staff, great care, and willing to work with us!
I brought in my 1 year old miniature dachshund for stomach inflammation and concerning stool at 4 AM. While the wait time was very long, the vet and nurses kept us updated the best they could and were very reassuring! Other pets had come in with more critical issues so we understood. Everyone was very patient with us as we discussed treatment plans for my dog as the initial estimate for hospitalization was not something we were able to cover at the time ($2,900.) They came up with an at home treatment plan that was much more affordable, and had my dog’s paperwork sent over within a day. She is on the mend and doing very well! We called once after leaving with a small concern and they were very quick to answer our questions. If I ever needed an emergency vet visit I would definitely come back.

I waited for 3.5 hours and finally I gave up and told them to bring my dog back to me and left. This people are the worst, and they should be ashamed of themselves!!!
The woman was condesendent and she was not helpful at all, don't waste your time and come to this hell hole!

Aly, the CSR, is truly outstanding. I can't thank her enough for the support she provided to my friends and me when no other animal service in the area would help us. She went above and beyond!

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Northwest Arkansas provided exceptional care during an incredibly difficult time for us. Dr. Kyle Shaw, Lexi, and the entire team showed not only immense compassion but also an extraordinary level of skill. They did everything they could to try and save our puppy, Lexi, and while we are devastated by the loss, we are grateful for the care she received. I’ve had dogs all my life and have experienced many emergency vets in California, but none compare to the expertise and professionalism we experienced here. The entire team is highly trained, and their dedication to their work is evident. As long as I live in NWA, I will only trust them with my babies. We are forever grateful for their support and the exceptional care they provided.

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Northwest Arkansas provided the most compassionate and supportive care during a very difficult time for our family. Dr. Kyle Shaw and Lexi, along with the entire team, walked us through every step of the process with our baby, Lexi. They were patient, understanding, and made sure we had the opportunity to say our goodbyes in a peaceful and caring environment. We are forever grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Thank you for everything you did for us and for treating Lexi with such love.

They were extremely compassionate about our situation. We had a beloved old kitty cat that wasn't doing well and needed to be put down. This absolutely broke our hearts, but the staff there were so nice and got us back to discuss options very quickly. They walked us through everything and made sure we understood the whole process of putting her down. We were allowed as much time as necessary to grieve. Thank you all for making a horrible time of our lives just a little bit better.

Tonight, our sweet boy, Arlo, crossed the rainbow bridge. He was 16 years old. AESC staff was amazingly kind and compassionate through the whole process. While it wasn’t easy, the staff did their best to comfort my family and myself. I can never thank them enough for everything they said and did for our sweet boy!

Terrible , they will not talk to you unless you have an appointment with a pet. The vets are inhumane, they don’t care about you trying to help your pet. Won’t give any info to a person trying to save their dog. Bring the pet in…. If your pet is ever in an emergency PLEASE DONT BRING IT HERE!!! My grandpa was a vet for 40 yrs in Carny Nebraska. Retired in Bella vista. If you had a large animal question or call he’d answer it no problem. These veterinarians should be disgusted by their actions!

Over the past 2 1/2 years, I have had the opportunity to utilize this hospital as a referral source for patients in central Arkansas when no other services were available. Each and every client that returns has spoken highly about the team and the medical services they received.
I have experienced nothing but compassion and professionalism from everyone at this hospital Arkansas is blessed to have them

Took our cat for an injured foot.We told them to go ahead and give her pain meds to make her more comfortable. They took her back said they were going to give her medication and a exray. Hours later the people at the front desk tell us she was given the xray and just waiting on the the tech to read the results to get back with us. 6hr go by they call us to a room just to find out she never got pain meds or a xray. They told us she had blood clots not an injured foot. They questioned how I knew she hurt her foot then told us it wasn't that. Recommended us put her to sleep. Told us that the test they did pointed to it being blood clots and if they tested her other foot it would verify it. I ask if the trauma from the foot being injured would also give a false reading they said no. We went a head and did the test because we didn't want to take her home and it be that and her have another clot. we gave her the medication and took her to our vet for them to tell us she did not have a blood clots. Whatever medication they gave us to give her and whatever they did to her in the 6 hours they had her she died from the trauma of that place it was not what they said. She wouldnt eat or drink thats how she passed away. This hospital needs to be shut down they are sick uncaring people that only care about your money not your pet. Tell us they did xrays and meds to find out it was all a lie. Never will I ever take my animals there again.

My almost 10 year old Basset Hound needed an emergency splenectomy, and after visiting a wonderful clinic nearby, we decided it best that we make the drive from Stuttgart to Springdale. I was in contact with the Practice Manager, Stacey Storey, who assured me that the clinic would be ready for us when we got there. And sure enough, they were.
This team went above and beyond and made us feel as comfortable as we could, given the situation.
We were directed to a cozy waiting room to hang out in while they prepped and got Sadie Rue through surgery.
We were allowed to see her once she was back in the ICU area. They kept her for monitoring for the following 2 days and we visited a few times again during those days.
The incredibly kind staff treated Sadie like she was one of their own and were so knowledgeable, answered our 100 questions and provided us with such helpful information to assist in her healing once we got her home.
I cannot speak highly enough of every single person who had a hand in our Sadie Rue’s surgery. I highly recommend this clinic.
