This has been the best experience that I have had with hair color. I got partial highlights and a cut with layers and I love the look of my hair. My stylist was Maggie and she not only did a great job on my hair but explained everything to me so that I understood why and what she was doing. I have lived here for two years now and I have finally found my hair stylist. I also have curly hair and she is very knowledgeable about that as well.
Stylist: Maggie is very knowledgeable and talented you will not regret going to her for your hair needs.

I got my haircut for the first time with Maggie one of the stylist. She did amazing and I will be booking with her again. I asked her for a trim and layers to help with my thick hair. l am very happy with how my hair turned out.

Y’all if you are looking for a hairstylist please go see Maggie Arnold at JL Salon Studio in Sherwood on JFK. She is the best and does amazing work!!! The salon itself is so fun and has a great atmosphere and even has a pup named Charli!!! Maggie thank you for making our day!!!

To start, I am the kind of person that dreads going to hair salons. I have had multiple bad experiences in salons and almost never get what I go in wanting. HOWEVER Maggie was amazing! She very carefully listened to what I wanted and then talked me through the entire process. I have never felt more comfortable and confident that I would get what I wanted. My hair came out BEAUTIFULLY! It’s so perfect. Can’t remember the last time I left a salon not feeling like I would have to grow to like my hair. I love my hair!! She was super reasonably priced as well. For the quality of my hair and the experience of being comfortable in a salon chair again, I would have paid more for sure!

I can't say enough about Maggie at JL SALON! She's not just a hairstylist; she's a magician with scissors. Maggie gave me a fantastic short stacked cut that beautifully frames my face. I was a bit hesitant at first, but Maggie's expertise and encouragement gave me the confidence to go for it—and I'm so glad I did!
The cut is not only stylish but also perfectly suits me. I've received countless compliments since getting it done. Maggie truly understands her craft and knows how to bring out the best in her clients. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented stylist who listens and delivers outstanding results.

Maggie was wonderful! Incredibly thoughtful and listened to what I wanted. She made me feel like I could trust her while I sat in her chair; and I left after my appointment feeling happy and light!

I won't be going back. Maggie spent a total of 5 minutes cutting my hair. She didn't ask me any questions and when I tried to tell her something about my hair and how I wanted it, she cut me off. She didn't even ask me how I was or any gesture of kindness. She was too busy talking with her friend in the chair next to me. I'm honestly still shocked about the whole situation. The last time I got my hair cut from her, she was really nice and focused on the customer, but this time was just completely bad service. I wouldn't recommend...

I got a men's perm done by Maggie and boy I couldn't have asked for a better person! I had no knowledge on this new hairstyle since it was a spontaneous choice, but Maggie was patient and awesome throughout the whole process, from explaining the different types/lengths I can go for, to the aftercare needed to keep the best results. Maggie and Tommy were awesome to chat with and had me cracking up laughing most of the time! They made me feel welcome and I loved the end results! 11/10 would recommend!!!

Highly recommend Maggie Arnold!!! She takes so much time with you the day before your appointment. She ask you all the questions of what exactly you are wanting. She also ask for pictures to get an idea of what you are wanting. She even takes her time the day of your appointment. She goes back over everything y’all talked about. The environment of the salon is absolutely amazing!!! Everyone in there is so kind and it feels so welcoming with everyone talking to everyone. Y’all go see my girl Maggie.
