I visited my MIL today. The case worker came in and spoke to MIL, she never spoke to me or envolved me in the conversation, she never even looked my way. She was about to leave when I told her that MIL had said that her food was always cold and she didn’t like eating it cold. We’re working on getting her to eat more btw. So when I mentioned this to her she said well when your husband is here he is welcome to heat it up in the microwave. Well my FIL is 83 too and is not there for all 3 meals. I don’t think it’s asking too much for her food to be warm especially since nutrition is key to her rehabilitation. She is stronger and I think is doing well so far. With proper nutrition she will get stronger faster and sustain her goals which is to walk on her own. I think overlooking the importance of food is setting a person up for failure. I promise you that not one person will get better if they don’t eat and nobody wants to eat cold food. Her nutrition played a very important part of her getting discharged from the hospital since they talked about putting in a feeding tube if she didn’t eat properly and that’s why this is very important.

We just had a horrible experience at this facility. My husband was in for rehab after having brain surgery. His caseworker decided he needed to go to their psychiatric ward in St. Vincent’s and stay a couple weeks. They had them call me and tell me they were sending an ambulance to take him over there. I said, no, I am not sure about this. Let me talk this over with my children. I told the caseworker no, so she came back to the room with the head nurse and told me we had to leave. I said when. She said today. I said DR. Krisht sent him over here for rehab and asked if they had contacted Dr. Krisht. She said well, Dr. Collins has an office close to Dr. Krisht and he will let him know. My husband still has the staples in his head. We were supposed to have another week of therapy and the staples would be taken out before we came home. She said well, I was leaving against doctors orders so I had to go and had to sign that we were leaving against doctors orders. I said well, what about home health and the others things they told us we would get when we left. She said since you are leaving against doctors orders, you get nothing. She said I would have to contact my PCP to see if he could get home health. So we didn’t get any paperwork to even know what medicines they were giving him or anything about his progress. My husband was aware enough that he understood what we were talking about and what was happening and he just had a meltdown. He was pitiful for a while. And he is doing much better at home and is certainly not a candidate for a psychiatric ward No, I did not leave against doctor’s orders. We were absolutely kicked out.

Excellent wound care specialist. There was some very good nurses and some that was dangerous to your health. After being discharged I had to do a lot of things that the facility was supposed to take care of. There was some good therapist there. I constantly ordered from doordash and Uber Eats because the food was horrible, most of the time. This is the type of problems I encountered. My insurance would not approve a new wheelchair because I had not made it to the 5-year marker since the last one I had. My case manager ordered a rental for $90 instead of getting a wheelchair with all of the accessories needed, my insurance ended up having to pay about $550 after all of the accessories was purchased . When this chair was delivered the driver informed me that I could have just gotten a rental that had all the accessories already on it. If that wasn't bad enough, the $200 leg rest that were ordered were too short which causes more harm than good to my body. When I went to a follow-up with my infectious disease doctor I found out that I was not sent home with the medication that should have gone home with. While trying to recover I'm constantly on the phone trying to take care of things that should have already been taken care of by someone who was paid to take care of it. I was discharged February 15,2023. I am still trying to straighten things out that did not get properly taken care of and I have no training in this area. When I contacted some of the administrators things got taking care of. If you go there stay on top of everything and have someone that can assist you. If your mind is not clear I do not recommend this place. One nurse told me that he did not check my sugar level because I was sleeping well after it had dropped very low hours ago, I could have ended up in a coma due to his negligence. This was my second stay there, 3 years ago it was much better I have no idea what happened. Thankfully most of the time I had the better nurses the cleaning staff was cool. Some of the nurses technicians constantly would empty my urinal and spill some on the toilet seat and just leave it there as if it was going to clean itself. There were times if you did not ask for fresh linen. on your bed you would not get it

I’m disappointed and angry. My son active military combat vet was there and while physical therapists were phenomenal, the nurses and techs should be filed on for abuse neglect. He cannot move his arms and legs. They would bring food and leave it not helping him eat. Then say he refused to eat. Then he felt like he was drowning. Told him it was anxiety. His wife asked him to be taken to ER they refused. She called 911. Now he is in icu with a vent. No one deserves to be treated that way. He is a loving father of 5 all with him. He is loving husband son grandson brother. He has served our country for our freedoms. Deployed twice. He deserves better. No one should ever be treated this way.

Very professional staff! Clean & exceptional facility. The staff all conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. I feel that my relative is in great hands if I have to step out. The Tech, Sherrell and Stephanie, RN are both amazing!!! They have done such a great job with my relative. I definitely recommend this Rehabilitation Center and the staff.

Not surprised at all by these terrible reviews. Called the main line asking to speak with human resources and the person who answered the phone called me "rude" because we didn't have the last name of the woman we spoke to the week before. Cannot believe that person is in charge of customer service and greeting, extremely unprofessional. If any of my employees spoke to someone like that they'd be looking for another job.

My roommates sister was paralyzed from the waist down a month ago (hit by drunk driver) and they are sending her home this next week to basically die.... They are not offering any kind of help and sending her home with elderly family members to take care of her.... I smell a malpractice lawsuit
