I don't know exactly what was going on, but one day my husband went in and got what he needed quickly. Just got off work after 13 hrs and wanted to get home. He went to the counter with his things and was waiting on the cashier. Two people were right there within seeing distance and looked directly at him 3 times, nodded and then went back to what they were doing. So he stands there a few more minutes and one looked at him again. Again, turned back to what they were doing. Ummmm.....you see a customer there, acknowledge and look away? Needless to say, he just left everything there and walked out. That is not good customer service. Why one never came to the register I do not know. They were the only employees there.

It’s a typical Dollar General. There are items that I can get here that I can’t get at the big name places, or I don’t want to get at the big name places because I have to fight the crowds inside to just purchase one or two small items. They have convenient parking and they still check you out. Big stores just pay people to stand around and watch you do their job while they play on their store issued phone and pretend to be busy!

Out of all Dollar General stores Russellville , this is the only one that closes at 9:00 pm the other's stay open until 10:00 pm

Well I felt a little unsafe there tonight. They have NO outside lights whatsoever,I find that a danger. It is a very very dark parking lot. Put lights up, protect your customers....
