Your gas is higher than anyone else’s. We are wanting to purchase another tank so we can start saving money w/a different company.

With the exception of Pam at our local office and Russell who delivers our gas, Amerigas and the way it conducts its business has greatly declined to the point that I would have already switched if not for those 2 people. When I can’t walk in and talk to someone face to face or call without having to go thru an over seas call center and speak with someone I can’t even understand what they are saying, it’s time for a change. Not to mention your prices are higher than other gas companies in this area.

Ordering was easy and delivery was timely. Price quoted when ordered was reflected as such on statement. Driver/deliverer was friendly, not intrusive and was careful to respect property.

We were not at home when tank was filled; but were happy to find it was when we returned! Order was filled as requested; no problems!

I needed to switch names on my account so AmeriGas told me that I was going to have to have an inspection to make sure my tank was working properly. They came out the same day of my phone call.

Great customer service; super easy to work with, able to answer most questions without having to research & call back, able to help correct misunderstandings or mistakes on billing. Love the auto-tracking option, so I don't have to worry about whether we have enough propane during the winter.

In the middle of a power outage I called for propane. I have a propane run generator and really needed the gas but it took exactly 2 weeks for you to deliver my gas, so under the circumstances that was very poor service. I didn't like all the questions I had to answer just to order the gas, it took over 10 minutes. If that was supposed to make service better it failed colossally.

They are dependable, friendly and very professional. I will only have AmeriGas service! No reason to have any one else. They always ensure I have gas!!

I have been trying to get a propane tank delivered since November 2nd and still no delivery date available. I was told it would be delivered today and still they tell me a service team will call me. The worst customer service ever

I've been an AmeriGas customer since 2006. I live on 53 acres at the end of a private road, and I buy one load of propane per year to cook and heat water. I own my own tank. From '06 to '21 I would rate this company 5-star. Not any more. I received this year's supply of propane on 2/17/22. Since my property is the last on a private road, any vehicles that enter must do a 3-point turn to leave. There are two safe ways to do this turn; one for tall rigs and one for normal sized rigs. Normal sized rigs pass under an electrical service wire that hangs at code height but is too low for tall vehicles, such as AmeriGas' propane truck. I instructed the driver, #85005, that his rig was too tall to pass safely under the wire and he should use the alternate route. He ignored me and ran his truck under the wire, at cowboy speed. The truck's propane tank has a lifting web welded to its top and this web caught the wire. When he reversed, and gunned it much faster than was necessary, he pulled the wire tight, like a bow string, and fortunately, did not bring the wire down. He did, however, snap the power pole at its base. The vibration set up by breaking the pole caused the wire to slip free. He was in a hurry to leave, had his windows rolled up and did not hear me screaming at him to stop. He drove away without a backward glance. I heard the power pole snap and the wire now hung down several feet lower than previously. I immediately called Entergy, my electrical supplier. Entergy sent a repair crew who confirmed the pole was broken. The only thing holding it up was its fibrous base and the wires distributing power to three out-buildings. AmeriGas driver #85005 left me with a severe electrical hazard, as any storm with high winds could bring down the pole and the wire. Since the wires serve outbuildings rather than my home, Entergy refused to be responsible for repairing or replacing the pole.I consulted my insurance carrier and it confirmed AmeriGas was responsible for repairing the property damage its driver caused, although they would cover the cost of repairs if AmeriGas refused. I decided to try to recover directly from AmeriGas or eat the cost if it refused. To say they refused is an understatement. Just communicating with them is like pulling teeth. I'd rather have a root canal than deal with that company's customer service.Since February I have attempted to get AmeriGas to take responsibility for its negligent and careless driver, to no avail; by phone calls to customer service, by letter to its corporate HQ and by email messages sent from the company's website. Only once was I told anything positive; that a district manager would call. He never did. Instead, AmieriGas sends monthly statements with, adding insult upon injury, a $36 monthly late fee. Also, since I refuse to pay for the propane. they have let the account out to debt collection companies, now on their third. To each I patiently explain the issue and why I refuse to pay. The latest update is now AmeriGas owes me money, the difference between the cost to replace the power pole and the cost of the propane. Guess what I think are the odds AmeriGas will ever pay up! I will never again do business with this company, nor will I pay the original bill, not to mention the late charges which they can put in the same place they put my letter complaining about the property damage their driver caused. This company appears to be in trouble. They have no management employees in the area. It appears they schedule deliveries by communicating directly with drivers who work from home. Where they store the propane these drivers use to fill their trucks is a mystery. I've heard good things about S & B Propane, which is the company I intend to buy from in future. A sixteen year loyal customer relationship down the drain by abominable customer service. Go figure...

They called the police instead of helping me....I placed an order on 2/14 when my tanks were at 40%. Amerigas provided a delivery window of 2/16-2/22. The delivery window came and went with no delivery. I called on 2/23 and ths call center said delivery would be that day. As it got later, I called back and they said delivery would be 2/24. On 2/24, the first time I called, they said delivery was scheduled for that day. Second time I called, they said it was now scheduled for 2/25. I was now down to 7% but figured as long as they delivered on 2/25, no problem. On 2/25, I called at 9:30am and I was told I was #15 on emergency delivery list and they were currently on delivery #5. When I called back around noon, I was told my name was not on the delivery list and my delivery was now scheduled for Monday. After they transferred me to several different agents, I finally got an agent who assured me my delivery would happen on 2/26. Seeing as how 2/26 is a Saturday and the call center had done nothing but lie to me, I decided to brave the snow/slush covered roads and drive to my local Amerigas office to see if I could get this worked out. When I got to the office, there was a sign on the door that said the office was closed to walk in traffic but there was a car in the parking lot and the lights were on so I knocked and knocked on the doors and the windows. Instead of coming to the door, the called the police. When the cops showed up, they did open the door for the officer. After they told the officer they were trying to help me, the officer told me I had to leave. On my way home, I got a call from somebody who said I would be on the delivery list tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.

Customer service doesn't exist. Cancelled service bc they were twice the price of a local competitor. Tank sat on my yard for 3 months. Got a bill for "Other Charges" called, couldn't get ahold of someone that speaks or understands English, after being on hold for an hour no one could explain "other charges". A scam of a business.
