Beware I would go to any other uhaul location. The young man who works here was polite, sincere and nice. But there's an older woman who stepped in; whom I guess is the owner; rude, condescending, very disrespectful and just plain mean to her employee and me as a customer. I was pretty much called an ignorant idiot. And in front of other customers. Two other individuals were also in disgust and walked out. I've never in my life been talked to like this from an employee or owner; anywhere; and I'm 53 years old. I was completely in the right, their mistake, but she had an excuse for everything. There's tons of places to rent trucks make sure this is your last resort.

Very disappointed in a company that we have been a customer of for 3 years. We had one issue we called them on this past week because the key in system was not working. Prior, never had a complaint. Call them around 7 PM and left a voicemail. Later, the representative called my wife from a different phone number. Did not say who he was or what campany he was from. Initially my wife thought it was a telemarketer and was apprehensive about continuing conversation with this rude "gentleman" on the phone. After about 5 minutes trying to explain what was going on he seemed aggravated to have to deal with this during his dinner time. He called my wife a Hateful person (used an offensive name..) and hung up. Next day during their business hours we picked up our trailer and change to a different more kind company. Amazing how folks can run a business like this. Good Luck!

Chuck and Betsy Snider, the owners of Russell Storage, are beyond rude - they are downright nasty people! I might also add, they're abusive to their under paid staff, too! They provide dumpsters, but don't think about using them. Don't be at your unit late hours at night. Don't complain about the leaky roof tops if your antique furniture is being ruined. Don't get caught on the property in a UHaul truck if you didn't rent it from them. Actually, you should probably stop at the office upon every trip to your unit and ask Chuckwad for permission to breath or live. Beware, if you anger Chuckie, he WILL remind you that he's a deputy sheriff and that he can and will arrest you for disorderly conduct, dumping, trespassing, or any other variety of erroneous threats that come to his brilliant mind... No kidding, I don't see how they stay open; rude, filthy units, leaking roofs, gravel lot, mid evil gate and fortress. Oh, and if you ever find your unit double locked even if you're paid up, no worries - it happens to lots of renters and you'll get access in about a month, when they find time to deal with you. Stay Away! Also, Benton County Sheriff, when are you going to investigate Chucks possible abuse of his badge, as he uses it to run and operate his own personal business. Outrageous!

The owner, Chuck Snider, is utterly rude and belligerent. I have leased an RV storage space from Russell Storage for over a year. Yesterday, I went to Russell Storage to rent a U-haul trailer, but the clerk was on her third day working there, and was not yet trained on U-Haul's simple web-based reservation system. She advised me to go to their other location, Chucks Used Cars, also a neighborhood dealer. I went to Chucks (during their posted business hours) but no one was there. I called the number, and Chuck Snider answered, advising that he was at lunch and would be "in and out" all afternoon. Frustrated, I called U-Haul's reservation number. The kind agent was able to reserve me a trailer at Russell Storage. I proceeded to drive back to Russell Storage, and the same untrained clerk handed me a printed piece of paper and the standard U-Haul pamphlet, which I signed. I asked, "Are we good?" to which she replied, "Yes." I went outside and hooked the trailer up myself, and left. An hour later, Chuck Snider (the owner), called and advised that I had stolen the trailer, and it was a class D felony, because I hadn't completed the paperwork. He yelled at me, berated me, and refused to accept the fact that he was wrong because he didn't properly train the clerk. He demanded that I come down right then to complete the paperwork. I advised that I had a meeting to attend (I was back at work) but he stated he didn't care, and that I would hurry down if I "knew what was good for me." At the conclusion of the call, my coworkers advised that they could hear how loud he was from my cell phone. An hour later, I returned to Russell Storage and signed ONE PIECE OF PAPER. Chuck Snider treated me like a criminal and a piece of garbage over ONE PIECE OF PAPER. Upon returning the U-Haul today, I gave my 30 days notice on my RV space will do all I can do to ensure no one else is treated like garbage by these awful people.

My family recently moved here and had to put the contents of our entire house into storage while we lived in temporary housing. The facilities at pretty nice and they where very helpful as we set things up. Unfortunately as we moved everything out we discovered the roof had leaked on to the contents. While I was well aware that they are not responsible for the contents, I was taken aback but what I felt was a lack of empathy by the woman behind the counter. She seemed to immediately go on the defensive. As we where finishing up I went by the office again, wondering if someone wanted to come by and look. She said that she has got someone looking at it. I did ask if she would be willing to refund the two months I was there but said" no, look at your contract, you already got a good rate." I was disappointed and expressed it. It was here attitude that bothered me the most. I was calm and respectful the whole time. Her defensive attitude made me believe that this is something they deal with often. She had mentioned they just had the roof sealed. Had she shown a little compassion I would would have perhaps rated them a three. I guess I got a good price because their units leak. I regret to say this but I recommend avoiding their storage units.
