They repaired the slave cylinder in my clutch and it’s better than it was before! They also gave me a detailed list of other repairs that need done along with the price if I chose to have them done too. I was very satisfied with their service and will be using them again in the future!Service: Transmission

While visiting family in Arkansas, I had an accident the day before I was to travel back to Pennsylvania. The accident caused my front end to need alignment and a safety check to make sure I could take the 1200 mile trip the following day. While their schedule was full, they let me drop the car off and fit it in by the end of the day. They were so gracious and accommodating!Services: Wheel alignment

Came in to fix one issue from the last mechanic, left with another fixed as well. Their attention to detail and great prices really sets them apart. Not only did they re-attach my loose sway bar but fixed a brake issue that two Ford techs and a "Master break tech" at Ford chalked up to "condensation noise." Car has been smooth and silent sense!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Friendly. Professional. Informative. This shop is a amazing. We stumbled on it by accident, as it was the closes shop to where my kar :-) broke down. While to get on their schedule you have to wait a few days out, they were able to solve our issue and address other needs quickly once they got the car in. They communicated via text and phone calls, and while the diagnostic fee is very pricey, they are extremely transparent with all pricing for their services and they don't push you to do unnecessary repairs. They explain to me exactly what they did and what was wrong, so it was clear what we were doing. They were also very transparent with what couldn't be repaired, which this kind of candor was extremely appreciated. You may pay a bit more here, but you will get a great experience (you get what you pay for).

Would never recommend them. Other dealerships said we were taken. Diagnostic is always given first then the customer can decide on next step. We're in our 70's and now on foot and $600 should have helped in some way. Never a recommendation and Chris knows who we are....

I can't say enough positive things about this vehicle repair business. I'm rather fanatical about preventative maintenance. I travel ALL over and often in remote areas of the country so reliability is extremely important to me. I did my usual PM a week before departure. I had concerns about something in the systems that impact steering. I went into my mechanic TWICE plus the tire replacement shop, to look at that. I could hear a rumble. Both businesses said everything was fine. Ready to go on my 5,000 mile trip. I came thru the scenic byway, Ozark ups and downs, a couple switchbacks and many "crooked and steep" turns as the warning signs indicated. I was taking them at a healthy pace, and then suddenly I had a fuzzy vision of me going off the edge. I slowed down and continued on into Roger AR. The next morning, when I came out of Crystal Bridges Museum, slowly going through their parking lot, I could see a shimmy in the steering wheel. When I got on the Interstate ..... a very noticeable pull to the right. I knew I could not continue on until I had it properly DX and fixed. The Kar Shop popped as highly rated with Google Maps. The reviews were great, and I liked what I read on their website, in particular, each person's background.SIDE NOTE: There will always be folks that aren't happy so I do not eliminate a business because there are a few negative reviews. I also weight current reviews heavily, especially after the pandemic because .... well because it's been a rough few years now, hasn't it. Grace the staffing shortages, people.I narrowed down my choice of repair shops to 2. I did a recon of both the night before. The Kar Shop lot was FULL. Ewe .... will they even have time to diagnose the issue? However a full lot typically means the locals know that they are good. And the lot was extremely well kept. Organized. They are also an AAA business. Yay. Another reassurance to me, traveling thru, that I'm picking the right shop.I walked in the door about an hour after they opened, and explained my situation. Amy said, you're right .... we're booked but let me see if we can look at it and diagnose it this morning. Then I heard a voice from beyond ... "we can look at it." ? Front tire .... it's separating. "You need a new tire but it will take us a day to get another one." They recommended another business so I was able to continue on my journey.I REALLY APPRECIATED THEM ON SOOO MANY LEVELS. This is long enough but you get it, right???One more thing that impressed me were these lock boxes. They're typically used for realtors or short-term housing rentals. I've never seen them at repair shops but a grrrrrreat idea. Helps busy customers, in an already challenging time, get their vehicle in and out of the shop when it's convenient for them. It tells me they're forward thinking. I like that.Due to the challenging high temps, their mechanics start early so they're done before it gets oppressively hot. That's also when mistakes get made .... oppressively hot conditions. That tells me they care about their employees. I want a shop that treats their staff well. It impacts quality of workmanship. I'm willing to pay more for that. Now I only wish THE KAR SHOP could be my PM and repair shop ALL THE TIME. I shudder when I think about my drive out of the Ozarks coming into Roger AR. When I left with new front tires (you really need to replace both at the same time), my driving was smooth and perfect. The original rumbling that I went in for TWICE before I left south central Texas .... was now gone. Shew!!! Thank you, GOD, and thank you, KAR SHOP. I was able to finish off the Arkansas mtn back roads through Eureka Springs and into Missouri's back roads with fun and confidence.YOU WANT THIS SHOP ?

They did a great job. They made a frustrating situation much better. They recommended a tow truck service, which was great. They also figured out a problem 4 other mechanics could not. They fixed it and communicated what was wrong and pricing. They are definitely my new mechanic.

My grandson had a Honda with the AC not working, it cost $299 to be told the AC was out & would cost $2,200 to repair. Part of the 299 was $30 for Freon. Very little time was spent because I was notified early Monday morning after leaving it Sunday night. Is that reasonable or fair? I think a dealer would be less.Service: A/C installation & repair

Our 2001 Chev Silverado needed work (Universal joint replacement and replacement of the left upper control arm). The vehicle rides almost "like new." And it has 253,300 miles! With continued good care, it might make it to 500,000 miles.

Besides telling me everything I had already known about my vehicle, which was general maintenance stuff. The true issue was never resolved. Saved probably $2000 by doing the work myself anddddddd I’m still right back where I started. What was even more interesting was besides my oil being checked and the car being drove down the road I don’t feel anything was actually inspected! So as I sit here on the side of the road in 100 degree weather, I decided I would leave my review I was texted about earlier this day. Thanks for a wasted diagnostic and 200 bucks down the drain. Amy was a sweetheart when taking that 200 bucks so I guess two stars is better than one. ?

I appreciated their kind, straightforward professionalism. Other places have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge on vehicles to charge more money. This was not my experience at all with The Kar Shop and I’m so grateful!!

The most reliable and professional team in NWA. I used to work at O’Reilly and delivered parts. Everyone knows these guys are the best around, and anyone I send their way thanks me for introducing them. The price may be a bit higher than other shops, but I’ll gladly keep going back because I’ve never had a less than amazing experience! You pay for what you get!Services: General repairs & maintenance
