Michael was my contact at the KAR Shop. When I say this man went above and beyond in service, transparency, communication, quality of work and reassurance, I mean it. I cannot speak highly enough of this shop. I took my 2018 GMC Sierra to a different shop and they tried to charge me 14k for a new engine, I got a second opinion at the KAR Shop and all it needed was a new radiator and water pump savings me 13 thousand dollars. Now my truck drives better than ever
Additionally, my 1997 Land Cruiser needed some love and I had a significant amount of mechanical and engine work and Michael and his team were able to get me all fixed up and they saved me money by finding different work-arounds.
If you need anything done on your vehicle from a simple oil change to the most extensive job, do yourself a favor and go see Michael at the KAR Shop! Best in NWA.

I had a battery drain problem. They ran a diagnostic test saying that it was fixed just to get home and let it sit overnight for the battery to go down again. When I called them back to see what they would be willing to do they told me that they couldn’t do anything else because it was a foreign made vehicle. That they didn’t want to do anything else because they were not sure if they were educated enough to fix it. Sure wish they had told me that before they did what they did and changed me for with no other help. The abandoned me in the process with no additional help offered. Not a happy camper.
Make sure they explain their scope of work before you let them do anything or you might be their next victim.

I had a really bad oil leak. They charged me about $90 to do a pretty comprehensive examination to find out where the leak was coming from. I felt like that was a very fair price. Turns out I had 3 leaks, which made sense because there when I would park somewhere, there would be three pretty distinct clusters of oil drips. They gave me their opinion on all the services they felt the car could use, and the individual price for each one. Selecting the services I wanted and refusing the ones I didn't was very simple through an online estimate form.
I dropped the car off Wednesday night for my Thursday morning appointment. My car was ready by mid-day Friday. No more oil leaks for me.

I was able to get in for the oil change the same day. Even though it was a late afternoon appointment they got my car in on time and got my oil change done in a timely manner. They were a reasonable price compared to other shops. I plan on returning to them in the future for my car needs.
