I had made an appointment and I had actually canceled other appointments I had scheduled for the afternoon to get my hair cut,color,and style I get to Walmart at pleasant crossing and the salon gates are down and no one is there I tried to call salon no answer. I went to customer service and asked why it was closed ? He told me someone took Keys home with them and they couldn't open without the Keys Someone went to go get keys I waited over an hour and they never opened. By this time it was to late to get appointment somewhere else. And I had rescheduled other appointments for nothing.i had e mailed a complaint but of course I never heard back from anyone. I am willing to give the salon another chance for my color and cut with style but it would have to be at a huge discount because the way this salon is ran is unprofessiinal. It would take and amazing appointment to change my review

No one cuts my hair well. Weird cowlicks and extremely thick hair. Kelley has not only cut my hair well, but does so consistently. If she isn't available to cut my hair, I would buzz it all off before going to anyone else. The rest of the staff and was very friendly and would try them if she recommended, but she is the best stylist I have had. Will keep going back as often as needed.

Great experience! Laura and Elizabeth were great! Gave me the best bob ever. When I came in I was suffering from a bad hair experience and they took me in and fixed my horrible haircut and made me feel beautiful again. I would highly recommend these two hair stylists.

I want to give a shout out to Kelly for one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever gotten! I walked in for an express cut, with the only instruction that I wanted a lot cut off, around 6 inches. Kelly talked me through the style process and I am obsessed with my collarbone cut! I have never had a cut that laid so perfectly, even after a night of sleep that I didn’t have to restyle it every morning. Thank you!

Wow I witnessed Matthew work in another customer before I was serviced and was very impressed with how well he handled the other cystomers and myself. The hair was perfect even though he was very busy. Way to go SmartstyleService: Haircut

I know people mostly leave bad reviews when they have bad experiences, but I believe the bad experiences is just standard for this location. I had my own bad experience with this really unfriendly and unprofessional stylist a while back. I could tell from the start. I got my hair wash in cold water, she told me she hated her job but it paid the bills, got a horrible haircut and she left me with a wet head. I literally was just done and I could tell she was too from the start. Normally I want to get my moneys worth... But that day I was willing to say, forget the money and I'm going to go before I was treated any worse. I assume that girl isn't there anymore.. but my mom had booked an appointment just yesterday morning for 1230. She couldn't get to it so she called and they said she could come in at 245. At 2pm we get a phone call saying that there's 2 ladies working but because they were doing a perm and dye job at the time, it would take the rest of the day to do. They close at 6pm.. I told my mom that it was probably a better idea to go somewhere else anyways and we did!.. I could be wrong.. but to me it sounded like it was more the case that they didn't want to miss out on the bigger sale. Otherwise why was it so easy to reschedule her appt when she called at 1230pm, then next thing you have know they are calling saying that they are both going to be busy for the next 4-5 hours because it was going to take the rest of the day. It really tells you something when their ratings are the lowest for this area. I know I don't recommend their services..

This is the forth month where I've come in for a booked appt at ten am, they're scheduled opening time. This is the forth month where they havent been open at ten am. Completely sick of their lackadaisical approach to common business practices.

Avoid. Especially Wendy, whose license expired in June!I came in to get my layers cut. I showed Wendy a picture of my own layered hair from the past that I wanted to get done. I told her the right side tends to look more chunky because of my part, so she would need to customize it a bit. She *immediately* became argumentative, telling me that if my hair looked like that it was probably the way I was messing with it (?). I also instructed her before she started that my hair is experiencing stress fallout and that she would need to be mindful and extra gentle on my hair. I also do not blow dry my hair because of the heat damage with the fallout. She washed my hair and combed it so roughly that I had to remind her to be easy. After the first horrifically blunt layered cut, she told me she WOULD HAVE TO dry my hair to see the layers. I very reluctantly gave in, and was in near tears and how badly she was pulling on my hair. I told her to stop, I can't take anymore drying. I saw the cut, which looked just like 3 different straight lines across my back. I said no, I wanted it tapered and textured, and asked if she understood what I was talking about. She said no, but she'll try and fix it. She managed to get my layers textured, but I had to ask for less bluntness in them. She finally said OH, YOU WANTED A TRANSITIONED LAYER, YOU SHOULD'VE SAID THAT. When I quite literally showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. I noticed while in the chair that her license expired 2 months prior.It's been 2 months and I'm still traumatized by that rude, inept experience. I called today to ask for her name and the woman that answered even mentioned that Wendy expressed her license being expired. She also conferred that other people have been saying things about their experiences.Wendy does not need to be cutting hair. I've never experienced a professional that lacked total insight and consideration for their client. I look at my butchered cut every day waiting till I can afford a real cut somewhere else.

I arrived with my children to get 2 boy's haircuts. There was one gentlemen ahead of me. We stood and waited. We came in right after him. So, the stylist took his information, took him back and started cutting his hair. We waited for 20 minutes and she answers the phone and books someone for right after the hair cut she's working on. I question her. I've been waiting this entire time. I understood she's the only one there at the moment, but to flat ignore me then answer the phone and book someone else was not professional. I took my kids and went to super cuts across the street. Best hair cut ever. Sadly you just lost a 30.00 tip for 2 hair cuts. Perhaps you shouldn't ignore potential customers.
