Had a lumber packaged delivered, very disappointed with the quality of the 2x10s and longer dimension pieces. It looked like they collected the old rejected pieces that were laying around the yard and just threw them on the truck. Many were warped, twisted and unusable, bug infested, especially for the sills and joists. Many were black and look like they had been laying around for a while. Will not be buying from them again with the next house.

We recently had materials delivered to the job site. Somehow it was put quite a distance from the install area on the wrong side of the house. We called Brian to explain the issue, but, we ended up leaving a message on his phone as he was busy. Well yesterday one of the delivery drivers, "Scott" showed up to move the material to the other side of the house. As impressive as that might be... from just a "message", with them coming out to move to the North side of the property, then, when Scott said " he might be able to do better even though it was tight quarters" I was utterly impressed by his ability to maneuver the 3 wheel forklift in 12' of tight space moving 14' joists within 3' of the patio and not more than 10' from the install location! Phenomenal & Impressive service!!! Nothing short of a superb performance! Compliments to Scott for his "can do attitude"! More companies need performers like Scott!

I have purchased materials from Ridout for 3 different houses and each time they have had the best stock, best turn-around time, and best customer service. Lucas and Ronnie are great salesmen. So helpful. They are my go-to for all of my remodels.

If you do business with this company, don’t pay in full up front! I had to learn a very hard lesson. For the amount of money I paid, I expected the products to be without flaw. I would never purchase a brand new car with a big scratch down the middle…no one should. Initially I thought I picked a good company. Got 3 different quotes and didn’t go with the cheapest or the most expensive. I thought Debbie Caperton really was a good salesperson. That was until it took me having to track her down for when the items came in, and to get items replaced that were damaged upon delivery. She treated me like what I paid for was some drop in the bucket. I pray I never have to have anything of my cabinets replaced, bc I know it’ll be a hassle.

Remodeled my kitchen with Ridout cabinets. I am impressed! Very affordable and much better quality than the big chain competitors. No particle board at all. Real plywood and solid door fronts. I ordered a houseful of windows and doors as well and they all came as ordered with no mistakes. I read some of the negative reviews on here but I did not have that experience. Quinton is very knowledgeable and asks all the right questions to get you the correct order.

We have switched our shopping from box stores to Ridout Lumber in Rogers for our lumber purchases as well as most of our windows and doors. The staff is very helpful. I personally have sat with management going over projects and getting the best options for customers. They have a great selection of lumber, doors and windows.Thier deliverys are on time and the drivers are always very kind. When errors were made, they were quick to resolve them without complaint or trying to find fault with us. I highly recommend them !

In general, I try not to post negative reviews; however, I feel obligated to warn customers about Johnny. In short, avoid Johnny at all costs. He embodies every trait you do not want in a salesperson.Johnny isn’t interested in giving accurate information - he guesses when you ask him questions about product specs, or price. Furthermore, he only guesses wrong. He will write down your order on the back of his phone book, transpose most numbers and then try super hard to read his own illegible handwriting. Johnny makes up delivery time frames and doesn’t follow up when they aren’t met.He is a terrible communicator and will actively dodge your calls when you try to get answers to his failed promises. The only way I found I could reach him was by showing up In front of his desk - where he’s always kicked back shooting the breeze. When he ruins your timeframe and sets you back a month - he will chuckle and explain that these things happen all the time.On a positive note - the manager seemed extremely experienced at apologizing for Johnny. I got my money back quickly and learned a good lesson. Mike at the front desk is great - professional, does what he says and gives correct information. I bought a bunch of lumber through him. It was delivered on time, the order was accurate and the lumber was mainly good quality. Unfortunately, I’ll never be back to this place after dealing with Johnny.

Don’t call them. I’ve tried doing business several times with this location. I either get ignored or they tell me to look at other places. If you are not a big customer building high volume, they don’t care about you.

Johnny is worse than useless, avoid at all costs. Ordered custom 10 foot window told Johnny that it needed to be installed from inside as the window location is 20 feet off the ground. Johnny ordered us external window with flange and said we could just cut it off, I believe him. Months later Johnny calls to say the window will be delivered on Tuesday. I ask for a time window "we don't do times". Wait around all day on Tuesday no one shows, no call. Call him and am greeted by voice mail box that hasn't been set up yet. Call again wed morning Johnny tells me window will be coming today, no apology for wasting my whole day on Tuesday. Says "huh" loudly when I bring it up. Johnny shows up when window is delivered I ask him how I'm supposed to install it he says "it's an exterior window you can't install it from the inside". Have a hard time holding back from shouting at him as I told him the application on the day I ordered and he completely ignored me. Then he says "it's going to be hard". Him and the other guy have a good chuckle as they exclaim "good luck" on their way out. Don't expect anything in the way of order correctness, help, or anything positive at all from Johnny as he actively sabotages your project. The best you can hope for is a loud "huh".

Is zero stars an option? I would not work with Johnny at Ridout to order doors again. After spending days trying to figure out all the details related to doors, I gave my order for three doors to Johnny. At first he tried to tell me one door was not an option, so I had to show it to him in the catalog. He wrote (literally wrote out the order) that had multiple errors. After correcting the written order, I thought it would be submitted correctly. We were told the doors would be delayed due to COVID and given an arrival date 3-4 months out. Needless to say, they did not arrive when we were told they would - I will overlook COVID delays. Three doors were delivered. Our contractor called saying Ridout was looking for the third door - do they not know what is and is not being delivered? The patio door is the wrong model, material colors on trim were wrong, dummy door handles were not included, the low e glass was inserted on the wrong side. Johnny did nothing to correct the problems. Just said those options were not available. We called Thermatru and they confirmed the options were in fact available. Quinton, a manager at Ridout is now working to get the issues corrected. He has been very helpful. It’s unfortunate he had to get involved. If you choose to do business with Ridout on Hudson Rd and you work with Johnny, I hope you have better luck.
