I decided that I knew enough about hair color that after 7 years I'd do my own at home. I haven't been up to leaving the house much and the at home color sounded perfect. Boy oh boy did I make a huge mistake!!!!! My new color was red. So I tried again. Clown orange. I could not get into a salon to have it fixed fast enough, so I found My Salon. Close to home and seems nice. I called and Dee Dee got me in the next morning. Everyone there is so darn friendly and Dee Dee made my hair perfect again. I like ve it so much. And the Lady from Merle Norman was so kind as well. If you haven't given this Salon a try, go for it. I will be going back again. Dee Dee, THANK YOU!!!!!

My Salon is in the old town near the tracks, out of the way, with decent front door parking. I had a big challenge. Serious change. David, the stylist, was asked to call forth the transformation magic.David is very nice, a really soft touch. My oldest daughter is too butch for "nice" guys (in my opinion), so I twisted her arm into her first adult styling at My Salon. The stylist knew my daughter was there under duress because we talked on the phone earlier. During her appointment, he asked her lots of questions about hair parts, kinds of hairspray to use, preferred methods, and potions to put on her hair: she knew nothing about any of these. He was probably just trying to make her feel more comfortable, but it had just the opposite effect. He also didn't put enough hold in her hair to get 3 minutes past the styling chair. Really, 3! But remember, she has thick hair, like a Wolf! Maybe overwhelming...?!? Don't know... .So, the moral of the story: don't expect a Cinderella makeover for your Elli Mae, wolf-haired daughter unless she, not you, can tell the Fairy G Mother Stylist what exactly you want and how to construct it.Good prices. My wife loves this place... .

This woman is amazing! I just went in wanting something that was completely opposite of what I got. She suggested the colors and I trusted and it ended up waaay more beautiful! I am very impressed. She knows what she is doing and is very trustworthy! For sure 10/10! Thank you so much!!!! Much love!
