This is a very clean, very nice facility with the best people caring for the animals. I adopted a little terrier, I believe named Einstein, now known as Hendrix or Henry, two weeks ago. He's a blast and I love this little guy! He's 11 lbs of personality - lots of energy but also very funny and sweet. He's learning fast! YEARS ago I adopted a chocolate lab from here, before the updated facility and had her, Daisy, for 11 years. She was about 3 when I adopted her. Thank you Humane Society for two of the best dogs!

Called to ask about neutering a dog. He asked if I bought the dog. Then he accused me of supporting puppy mills and making breeders millionaires. He was quite hateful and rude. I wish I had gotten his name. This is not the kind of person you need caring for your animals. What a horrible person!

This was my first time visiting. It was probably the cleanest animal shelter that I've ever been to and I've been to quite a few of them lately. Trying to find a dog while I was there. Found the best dog. We're going to Foster it and really adopt it. We're doing great with our training. Thanks so much!

Love it here! The caretakers of these beautiful souls take great care of them! And of course the many fur babies are always so sweet! Adopt don't shop y'all!!

I adopted an adult dog. The shelter was clean and everyone was very kind. I spent about 30 to 45 min outside with my dog in the very pleasant enclosed play area. I’ve been so happy with my sweet boy!!

The 1st time at the shelter, a dog chose my husband. Things that prohibited us from immediately adopting the dog: we lived in a small apartment, my husband had a heart attack 2 days later, we needed a fenced yard. That was the end of July, our adoption was early December. These shelter folks allowed me to come weekly and take the big boy for walks and play with him. The shelter team rocks! Finally into our home with fenced yard. Our boy is happy and so are we.

Great first time adoption experience. Clay and the entire staff were wonderful and we would definitely recommend checking them out. Our family has grown by 2 and we could not be happier. There are so many wonderful guys and gals that need loving families.. We wish we could take them all ❤️
