“I am in and out of the Tiger Mart, Dardanelle Arkansas, all hour's of the day, a 24 hour day many times. My job as a musician takes me away from home more than I would like, especially now that my first and most important job is helping with the care of my mother, age 80. I still enjoy performing very much, even though a loss if hearing has taken me away from Symphony and Studio work on both trumpet and French horn. I have included a snip of my resume for one and one reason only. This review of Tiger Mart is true, from my heart, the second such review I have ever done, and the workers there deserve nothing but the best Corporate can possibility offer. One young man told me once, while he was on break, that he could, should he wish, be an educator, even a civil engineer! Another employee is so friendly that I invited both she and her husband/boy friend,(I know she is "spoken for" but as to the title, no clue and do not care), to the Grammy Awards show, in the event I am ever lucky enough to go back. The restrooms are clean! Trust me, when leaving a bar after playing for four hours, then driving sometimes six more to get back to central Arkansas, not only are finding a place to get a soft drink, coffee, whatever; AND pause for the cause, like I have said while doing small club 'gigs' a billion times, is important. I could never, not stop in and take care of what ever needs I have at the moment, any longer than 5 DAYS max! My close family and friends would notice if I did not show back home after a 'gig' in a couple of days or so. I truly do think that should I not stop in for 5 days in a stretch, all of the employees there would miss me. Jake”

“Why are bothgas stations in Atkins 10-15cents higher than in Russellville??? Even the gas stations in town farther are cheaper than Atkins??? I can drive to Pottsville Shell gas station & get gas cheaper than on the intetstate at Atkins? Caseys at other towns & sites are usually cheaper. Even those off the beaten path. So I just try & not buy gas at these 2 stations anymore unless its an emergency which I try at all cost to avoid!!!????”

“Tried to sleep while coughing and being miserable all night. Finally got up to take some Nyquil, only to find it had expired. I knew I needed some in order to get any sleep. Since Covid, Walmart has closed early. Thank god for this Casey's that's open 24 hours. Only a short drive later and I had my medicine. This local really appreciates your late hours.”
