All 3 of my kiddos have gone thru Kid’s Academy in Pea Ridge. The owners and staff were always great, and loved on my kids like their own. Most importantly they prepared them all for kindergarten so well that they have excelled from day one in the public school system.

During Covid, the owners decided to close their business(not forced by the state) for over a month and decided that parents still owed them tuition for that time. For us, that was about $1200/month.We were struggling to pay our mortgage at this point and losing hours because we had to take turns staying home with our kids while paying full price for daycare. Tried to discuss it with the owner Becky over the phone calmly and was hung up on.Confronted them face to face and was told businesses have to make money. They didn't understand when I told them multiple times, customers need to be serviced for businesses based around customer service to make money and wouldn't agree to any discount for loss of service. I was told I could take my kids and get the hell out of there if I didn't like it...She tried to make me out to be the "bad guy" for calling her out and messaging other parents about the situation in a mass text she sent to all clients. She told us all if anyone is struggling with bills message her and she would help. We messaged and we're ignored like usual. So maybe she discounted the price for a couple of parents she liked, who knows?Overall, the child care wasn't terrible, we just had to remind them to feed my new born a bottle a couple of times and trying to get a response from Becky on anything was always a hassle.I delayed this review to avoid retaliation towards my children. My kids went here from a new born til kindergarten. This review is based on my 7 year experience here.

I live right behind this preschool and the older lady who works here is extremely rude to the children and threatens them when they outside playing. She has no patience at all and uses punishment as form of discipline. Scolds them often and doesn't seem to encourage play or independence.

Great teachers! Pre schools exceed kindergarten readiness knowledge.
