I have so many questions and concerns about this organization. Where was the oversight? Why was only 1 person running this place? Ignoring emails and calls from community persons, including myself. The animals that were there were not living in clean conditions. Which also means that they were not well cared for. Some were in wire crates, and for who knows how long. Those ones were surrounded by dirt and filth and just cluttered mess. There is no way 1 person could give over 100 animals the amount of care they need. I offered to volunteer and she ignored my calls and emails. That's when I showed up and saw the property and was concerned. Mostly that several dogs were roaming freely outside of the property, a horse looked in bad shape needing hoof trimming badly and just a weird feeling that something wasn't right. I initially thought something may have happened to Brenda, but she was just out in town and didn't answer. But I was the concerned citizen that called the welfare check and I am glad I did. At least now the animals are getting out of that place.
They were not properly advertising the animals available to adopt, they were not getting the vet care they needed, many currently have bad cases of heartworms, all of them probably have fleas and ticks, some need spays or neuters, i took one to the vet the other day for a severe UTI. The humane society now has custody of them. But as for the animal farm, i hope that this rescue is shut down for good and no one from the board attempts to start another non profit rescue. Because this was a mess. And it couldve been avoided had there been a volunteer system, oversight, and if they followed the law. Plain and simple.

I have been volunteering here for a couple of years. It's a nice setup; dogs have covered runs.little houses with dog doors that go into fenced-in runs. To bad the county is trying to shut it down..sad day for ne Arkansas

We adopted a dog from them 5 years ago, and ever since then, I’ve witnessed how hard they work to save animals and find them loving homes.

I messaged them on Facebook to find out how to surrender an animal as my female has gotten pregnant again before I could get her spayed and they was completely rude and told me the obvious that I should have gotten her spayed and that they are full. If you are full that is fine but no reason to be rude and tell me exactly what I already know.

We were checking every animal shelter in the area for our missing cat and whoever runs this shelter was repeatedly rude to us and wouldn’t cooperate or even answer simple questions. There is a chance my cat is in this shelter but they refuse to let us look.Edit: Based on the photos we saw from this shelter we were 99% sure one of the cats was ours. Had the same spots and everything. We’ll probably never see him again and there’s nothing we can do about it. This place should be shut down.

Woman at the gate was strangely rude for no reason. Didn't even listen to my inquiry and said "just send a message and wait for a response". I asked where to send the message to and she pointed at the gate sign with an attitude, as of it had that info, which it doesn't, so she told me.That unfriendly attitude isn't going to help those animals at all.

I wouldn’t even give one star! This place is a horrible excuse for a safe haven for animals. And the woman who runs the show, is a pet stealing psycho that picks up other people’s pets! This place should be shut down! What a disgrace!

This woman is clearly poaching animals off of the street. She’s rude and unhelpful. Absolutely zero professional skills. She stole this dog, point blank and is now asking owners to pay her around $500 to get it back when she was just about to adopt it out. Don’t adopt from here. You’re likely getting someone else’s pet. Don’t donate. You’re likely supporting this persons lifestyle.

I called the shelter to ask about our female Chihuahua that went missing and the person I spoke to was so rude and obnoxious... maybe they could get more people to volunteer if she isn't there!!!
