“This branch is fine everyone helps as much as they can. I don't super love regions in general though. They really shafted me on a CD. I got a competitive rate for the first 13 months and was told (by a member of another branch) that it would renew at the new CD rate (which was widely 4.5-6%) but instead I got less than 0.5%. Tied my $25K up for another 13 months while regions earned hella interest off of my money I got nothing for it.
Their savings and checking accounts earn none or miserable interest rates as well, on top of having aggressive rules and fees on account minimums.

“I went to one of my local locations on a Saturday, and only went to dispute a fraudulent charge (super easy and simple). Well in the process I asked a few questions I needed to know in order to determine what to do to move forward in my life as my circumstances are the best right now. I got the answers I needed (which by the way if you are worried about losing your account history with the bank for good standing for future loans, have no fear, the account history starts at the first date of creating the account and that's what they look at!), so 2 new accounts created, and a plan on when the close the previous 2 accounts! Marquasia was the absolute best! So very helpful, listened to my nonsense stories and was so sweet the whole time! Best bank ever!”

“Most of the time I get good fast , friendly service . I remember a few years back when my grandmother died and I had p.o.a , they were more then helpful . They did a whole lot more for me than Bank of America ( whom I wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy ) Usually , if there is something to complain about , I would say it is the wait time . This seems to be mostly at certain times and days of the week . The problem seems to be not enough tellers at the front counter , or difficult customers that want to argue or do other things to make their jobs more difficult . I feel that maybe some of the stress could be taken off the backs of the tellers by those that I see sitting around behind desk doing what appears to be not much of anything . I feel that during times of rush , it would not hurt them to get up and help at the front counter . no job should be considered beneath them . However , I would still choose this branch over many other local banks .”
